I just can't bring myself to buy Andersons, but these are $50 which is still a helluva deal. Never had issues with the Palmetto Blems.

How are these things so damn cheap?

Was there a none issue with the Anderson's? I bought one and it appears fine (but admittedly have not shot that rifle yet )

I have two and one was used at CW4 and worked fine, the other is the base for my CWAR. Just as good of quality as the Spikes or DPMS lowers I have.

There is nothing wrong with an A2.  They cost ten bucks.  They work well enough at what they're designed to do.  In fact, they work better than most of the $50+ flash hiders, and they're smaller.

So one got broken.  Get another.

Unless you have a suppressor to mount to it, there's very little reason to use anything else, unless you just really want a brake.

The only lowers I've ever bought were Andersons. Crow put together my first AR using one. Went together flawlessly and is my favorite rifle.

The engraving above the trigger pins says "GA-15."

I don't know what their relationship with STT is, but Geissele does have a manufacturer's FFL, and they're set up to bring complete rifles to the market if/when they're ready to do that.

It doesn't bother me if they're rebranding another lower.  I doubt they'd be making their own barrels or bolts, either.  But big G is a guy who craves perfection, and I have the fullest confidence that if/when it happens, they'll have partnered with some top quality suppliers.

I figure there's some time to test out all the potential parts to see what works, and we're just getting some teaser pics during the process.

Disclaimer: Much of this is conjecture on my part.

Don't forget that BAD also have a lower.  I'd guess that either would be good for extra credit.

Should have read all the way through to the end before posting. I did a image search and it originated from a twitter post two weeks ago by G's Photographer on one of his builds.

He also posted a video where he shows both sides of the rifle, and the other side is still engraved all san-tan, which leads me to believe this lower was not made on a variance, but just has additional engraving.

It was announced that Geissele contracted a small batch of those receiver sets from STT (I think 20?) to be built up as show rifles.  Undoubtedly some of the receiver sets are in the hands of Geissele employees, but the word is that (at this point, at least) Geissele isn't looking into making complete rifles.

Honestly i would wait till you can at a minimum get a 14. I'd rather not have NVG's than have 7c's

Is an AN/PVS-7 CW spec/approved or does it have to be a PVS-14? I found a smoking deal on a pair of PVS-7s.

While PVS-14 is the best route, I don't think there are "specs" on NVGs for Cola Warrior.

And this thread is about the rifle, not green eyes.

Yep, we only have @ 12-14 Night Warriors total from all the Cola Warriors held so far.
I don't think any of us use the same NV setups.

Well then, I am going to make PVS-7s cola warrior spec.

I prefer 7s to 14s.

I can wear them longer without headaches and the resolution is the same.

Only the 7As were POS.
