Sounds good to me. I just wonder why you have to chime in with an attempt to elicit a negative response....that is called trolling doncha know? View Quote I don't like YOU trolling. You elicited a negative response from me. I'm sure Texas has great things. Just like New York does. Edit, Just to be fair: Georgia sucks too. Probably more than Texas. |

We got canyons, grassy plains, thick forests, and swampland. Awesome economy. Lots of jobs. We’re slowly strengthening our gun laws; part time legislature and all. Private property rights are pretty awesome. But yeah. It sucks. Stay where you are. We don’t need that negative ass attitude. View Quote |

Glad you're not concerned about one range. Unfortunately that's how they close them, one range at a time. How many public 1000 yard ranges are there in Texas? How many tactical ranges that allow FA? Because there is now one less. Never said it was related to recent events. TLDR: Lawyer/developer buys surrounding land, claims range is a safety hazard. Owners build new berms, offer to correct any issues. Doesn't do any good. For those who can't connect the dots concerning the massive influx of Leftists to the state and their effect on our culture, then just keep thinking your happy thoughts. Not enough evidence here to concern me. Any number of reasons for this to have happened on August 26th with no relation to recent events. Unless there is more to the story....I am listening but so far, just not concerned over one range. It does suck, but again could be any number of reasons. I watched a new range, I became a member of, go down the tubes in the middle of the DFW metroplex. I have no idea why. It was nice. Overhead was seemingly the issue to me. I WORDED IT POORLY. But my point was what are all the circumstances, could be any number of reasons. I watched the video, I have never been to a range that did not have a consistent berm at the end. Maybe it was too costly to make a berm that would remove the argument of stray rounds? |

I can't possibly elicit a negative response because I wasn't targeting anyone to care what they think. I can't control what someone else does in response to my posts. I could care less what you think of my opinion of Texas. Texas sucks. Only redeeming quality is that it's not a blue state...yet. By your definition trolling is everything you don't like. Sounds like you got triggered and need a safe space. I don't like YOU trolling. You elicited a negative response from me. I'm sure Texas has great things. Just like New York does. This was a major problem for another TX range I used to frequent.
Loads of accusations of stray rounds landing on properties nearby; multiple neighborhoods popped up around the range DECADES after it had been opened. Sadly, holes all over the roof of the outside firing line lend credance to such accusations. There were no shortage of boneheads rouching off rounds that were not directed into the berms. |

You know what's the saddest part of the entire situation? The property investment company tossing lawsuit after lawsuit at the range is a fucking aggie. Aggie gotta aggie I guess.

I've taken many a new shooter to BotW. This is very sad news.
I don't think this necessarily implies Texas has fallen, but it's damn sure not a good sign. Last time I shot at 1000 there with my brother and his friend was some of the best fun I had pulling triggers. Watching trace and calling each other's shots was a hoot. Being able to take my own steel to the bays was awesome. Hell, we had a company shoot there in 2013. It was awesome expensing ammo! Shit. |

So does Subnet's tenure as a mod preclude him from doing more interview with guys who have screwed trannies?
Or, does Subnet's tenure as a mod mean that site ownership has recognized the proclivities of their target audience and are appealing to their basest desires? I just have to believe that Subnet being a mod, in some way, pertains to tranny sex. |

They just need to build up their back stops. I frequent a range with residential area less than 500 yards away for the backstops. Their back stops are around 30 feet tall now.
