Looks fun (and old school US Marshal cool) and that's enough reason for me to want one. There are videos of guys hunting with them though, including killing deer.

I have a shockwave and tac.
They are fun and work just fine for close stuff or as a vehicle gun with more close range thump than a handgun where long range accuracy isn't needed. |

Originally I thought they'd only be good for door breaching or a "back off" gun for the truck but after seeing Clint's video awhile ago I think I want one. Topped with a small red dot like 03RN's I think it could be a very useful gun.
I don't think it's a "do everything" or even most things shotgun but for how cheap they are I think they're worth it. I want one. |

I like the idea of the semi-auto version. I like the price of the pump. Anyone know what the magazine capacity is with the Aguila short shotshells. Or the new short shotshells from Whoever it was that posted the new ones up in here yesterday. That is my only real source of hesitance about buying one at the moment. If they will run reliably with 8-10 of the shortshells, then I'm likely IN!!

It's only useless if you never shot one or practiced with it. It handles much differently than a regular vertical grip.
It's completely manageable even without a brace or stock. Think of grabbing a birds head grip like a firm hand shake. There is more grip to well, grip. While the regular POGO is like a soyboy hand shake. Not much to hang onto, and the vertical angle sucks on POGO shotguns. The downward angle on the birdshead helps. |

I thought it was useless until my nephew got one. After some practice, he now rocks with it. Banging steel with slugs and buck and shoots clays out of the air. I have come 180 degrees. In the right hands it’s totally useful as a truck/camp gun. His is a 20ga too.

I couldn't really say, but I bought 2 Tac 14s off PSA for 269 each.
I haven't shot them yet but I stuck a laser on one. I'm normally not a fan of lasers but in this case I can see the practicality. |
