Quoted: no, no there isn't... I've been posting on the same board for 2 years and following Bronco since before it's release and outside of the bad batch of 2.7s and early MIC top problems the issues are pretty isolated cases. My loaded Badlands went into production a couple days ago and should be shipping out in about a week. View Quote You have your Ford fanboi blinders on. I did see one random guy with the hood issue which is corrected by turning hood bumps and so far maybe 2 soft tops splitting. Quoted: Over on the 6th gen Bronco forum, there are countless posts of the vehicle being a total POS. Would you buy a first year vehicle from any manufacturer, especially a US car company? View Quote 2022 Ford Bronco 4 door with 2.3 auto here. One of the best new Vehicles Ive owned. Base model with Sasquatch and Aux switches. Technically its the wifes and she loves it. It went on a 3 out of 10 trail near us and laughed at it. Awesome approach, breakover and departure angles, and its the 4 door long wheelbase. Vaughn Gitten Jr took a Crush Bronco to Moab and killed the Hardest trail there with essentially a stock Sasquatch 2.7 4 door. Its unfortunate that the shortages have hit a launch like the Bronco very hard, as well as a certain run of 2.7TT V6s having valves causing catastrophic engine failure. But, with a sample size of 1, our Bronco is fucking awesome. Unless you need other shit in the higher trim levels, Base with Sasquatch is all you need. |

People keep saying they look small. Must be seeing the sport, because everytime I see a bronco up close that thing is a yuge boxy vehicle. Moreso than the wrangler.

Quoted: That might be a good thing if you get the 2.7. You would have missed the bad batch of valves with the cap breaking off top of the valve and dropping it into the cylinder. But dam that engine has a lot of torque. View Quote Yeah. I ordered a wildtrak in March of 2021. Missing the early qc issues is the only silver lining. I have a 3.5 ecoboost in my F150, and was surprised how much punch the 2.7 has for being smaller. |

I certainly wouldn't doubt it.
Anyone buying a ford at this point just likes the abuse. |

I still like the looks of it , but Ford and new model just give me the willies.
I’m on the Lexus and 4 runner forums and we don’t talk much about issues until they get late in the game from what I see. ????????? |

I have seen a few Broncos on the road and they look quite unattractive to me. Looked up photos of the Bronco and Sport and both are equally unattractive, to me. Add in the difficulty getting one, the above msrp, which is already too damn high, along with quality issues and you have a vehicle being sold due to hype, status and elitism (look at me, I’m not the poors!)
You guys can have them, knock yourselves out. |

It can be had new for under 40K so it’s not expensive and certainly does not show status or flex on poors. |

I thought I learned my lesson with a first year redesigned 1996 Thunderbird LX. I later purchased a 2006 Mustang GT, thinking that some of the kinks would have been worked out, and surprise, they weren't. I generally do NOT buy the first year, new model of ANYTHING unless I find myself in need of a car and that first year model is what I want. That being said, nearly every vehicle I purchased was towards the end of its model cycle in the hopes that all the bugs had been worked out by then.

Quoted: My daily drive is a 2012 Pathfinder. It was the last year Nissan built it on a truck frame. The following years were crossover vehicles. The new 2022 Pathfinder is once again on a truck frame. I'll wait until reviews and feedback is in, but I may consider a 2023. View Quote Not that it is an issue but the pathfinder has been a unibody for 20 years. Usually when someone says a truck frame they mean body on frame. |
