I recently went to a local gun auction and grabbed a S&W 1917 and an H&R auto ejecting revolver. I'll do a quick look article on this week's TFB Wheelgun Wednesday, with full reviews later. I was the winning bid for $10 on the H&R! Attached File Attached File |

Quoted: I was seriously just thinking that. The grips I ordered are showing as delivered yesterday according to USPS tracking but they weren’t in my box Hoping they just put them in the wrong box. Our neighborhood is pretty solid, so if that’s the case someone should drop them off eventually. I desperately want to find a 2.5" S&W Mdl 586, with the rounded, finger groove grips.
ETA: in the meantime: Attached File |

My revolver collection is only missing a couple of things now. I need a Bisley .44 Mag and a S&W .38-44 Heavy Duty (preferably 5 inch)

View Quote No unfortunately I’m addicted to scratching up my guns I tend to cut on something every day i’ve cut on everything from Friends motorcycles to leaf springs of cars to ar15s for charity donations i’ve even built full suits of jousting armor museum replicas I guess I’m the highest functioning ADD person you’re going to meet lol |

@schornstinefager
Any more pics of that single action? Details? Looks like a custom mod similar to something I’m considering. Thanks! |

Thanks, that is amazing. Looks like a Dragoon. I thought it might’ve been a regular SAA that had an adjustable sight grafted on, which is the project I had in mind. That is really beautiful.

Quoted: Recently I added a pair of Jerry Miculek non-logo Pau Ferro hardwood grips to my S&W 629 .44 magnum Mountain Gun replacing the standard soft grips. Initially I was apprehensive about the smooth finish and found they fit my hand perfectly giving me better control. In the past I added some sight improvements adding a SDM Fabricating front fiber optic sight that is .300 high and a Jack Weigand rear blade that is .125 in width. This revolver is my primary backup sidearm on hunting trips and is sighted in for 25 yards and under. https://i.imgur.com/7WgGNSy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Hg97pJ1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/fsRL2w8.jpg https://i.imgur.com/DcEn0g3.jpg View Quote My first IDPA revolver (a 625) had an SDM sight (installed by Scott Mulkerin himself). It's a great competition sight, but I wanted something a little more practical on my Mountain Gun, so I went with a tritium fiber optic, but also with the Weigand rear blade. The Miculek grips are the way to go. |

The N frame can hold 6 rounds, but I like your idea even better. |
