The closest mall to me is in another country, but if I was gonna go there to crawl it’d be in a new Bronco decked out from the Ford equivalent of Quadratec. I’ll stick with my old Jeep for getting firewood & playing out in the woods.

IMO if you're trying to offroad your road going vehicle you're failing.

Sxs for the win. Hp to weight ratio of an exotic with the suspension of a trophy truck.

I watched the YouTube release video. Looks like it rides rough as hell and the rear bucks like fucking crazy.

Just an opinion.

LOL, Ford Fanboys are excited about a redesigned IH Scout.  It looks nothing like a 66 Bronco, but like the 66 Bronco it has shitty IFS that never could compete with Jeep.   At least the original Scout had a front solid axle.

That’s complete BS.  The pending merger is with PSA (a French company not Chinese).  Think Peugeot...

Or you could back your fake news up with a real source.

And that's Jeep's saving grace for now, at least for the enthusiast and off-road market - there is no Bronco equivalent of Quadratec...or the other sites that sell aftermarket parts from thousands of jeep part manufacturers.

That situation may change (slowly) in time, but it's another reason to avoid jumping in at the start and beta testing the new Bronco.  But I am still hoping Ford delivers here.

Being a new vehicle, it will be built entirely out of metric parts. Therefore, it will make it a good 40 meters before dying.

My bet on production model...

They will neuter it, the off road suspension will be
Lowered, made Highway swerve Super safe, there
Will be a 19 speed auto that Karen doesn’t have to think about availability of manual Will be only on base engine(which will be a 3 cylinder 1.0 eco boost at 130 Hp/torque) or the top top tier which costs 50k, and has leather , satalite radio, onboard cray computer, and 19 rims, neither axel will be solid Or truly locking,  (CAFE).

Nothing to cry about, there is lots too like about the bronco, ford did their homework. But no solid axle and no mechanical t case linkage are big let downs imo. People want and expect that rugged mechanical durability from Jeep.

I like it,  factory 35s with front and rear lockers available on any package is awesome.  Jeep might have to make lockers available on anything other than the rubicon.  Jeep teasing the 426 hemi on a Jeep was a nice touch,  that might be enough for me to buy one.

IFS? I've seen some damn capable Toyota's get through some serious stuff without a problem.   35" tires on the Bronco as a factory
option with bead lock seems like Ford means business.

No I'm not selling my Rubicon JKU anytime in the next decade or two.  And as far as reliability both of my JKU's I've owned have been trouble free.
