Democratic zeal might just pay off far more than the Republicans' history of conditioning the population for further and further acceptance. Maybe force SCOTUS to draw a real line in the sand. And more likely in our favor when people are legit pissed off and taking to the streets with guns. Bottom line, this bullshit won't end until then. Same with KY, as we lost our governor but the AG beat the democratic governor by 200k votes. A clear message from folks who were nevertrumpers (though more likely all the teachers Bevin pissed off trying to save the pension system from collapse)

Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 because Gary Johnson in addition to the Never Trumpers.
Running as libertarian he took almost 4.5 million votes that would have more than likely gone to Trump. 2020 is shaping up to be a dismal election year for the Socialist/Dems. If the Bern gets the nod it will turn off "moderate" dems. If the Bern doesn't get the nod all the Bernie bros will stay home on election night. Trump will win 2020 in a crushing and historic landslide. Republicans will take back the house. Purple states will be Red once again. |
