Trump's biggest enemy is domestic. That's why he can't fix NK. He is in the unenviable position of having the strongest military in the world and the weakest willed civilian population. They will not tolerate any sort of military action that gets Americans killed. You cannot bombard NK into submission. You will need boots on the ground to fix North Korea. Once body bags start coming home you will have a repeat of the Vietnam protests. And talk of a draft will get a cup of pumpkin spice latte thrown on you by a millennial. This is the weakest generation of Americans ever being protected by the strongest military ever.

Because a post-Kim unified Korea is detrimental to their interests. It moves the American sphere to the Yalu. That's not a win for them.

The United States must make it clear that these provocative moves are condemned on no uncertain terms. Any Russian or Chinese Military items being moved into position near North Korea should be immediately and without apology destroyed, if those items are deemed to pose a threat to our brave men and women who may be soon performing operations in and near North Korea.
Any aggression in the region is ultimately an aggression against the United States. |

They have been waging economic warfare on the US since Bill Clinton was in office. They are pulling the strings on North Korea in this matter. |

Kim Jong-un is like the mouthy fat little kid on your street whose brothers are Vitali Klitschko and Jackie Chan. You have the might to pound him into oblivion. Unfortunately, you will only get a Pyrrhic victory because in return you and your friends will get pounded into oblivion by his brothers. There is nothing you can do about that kid. And there is nothing the USA can do about North Korea. It is extremely naive to think that Russia and China are going to solve our problem for us. To them, Kim Jong-un is not a problem but a hero. They see him as their deterrent to American aggression and expansionism in the region. Trump has been checkmated. His only option is to risk starting WWIII and he won't do that. We might win WWIII but again, it will be a Pyrrhic victory. So the status quo will continue like it has since 1953. View Quote Duly Noted. Amid heightened tensions in the region, Beijing staged 'large-scale' military exercises with dozens of ships, fighter jets and submarines adjacent to the Korean Peninsula on Monday - just months after moving 150,000 troops to its border with North Korea. Russia, meanwhile, moved military equipment including helicopters and combat vehicles to its southern frontier with the hermit state earlier this year. Moscow has displayed its own frightening military strength at a war games event in Siberia this week and during a vast Navy Day parade in Vladivostok - about 100 miles from North Korean territory. View Quote So here is the question that I have: Is this just a prudent move by China and Russia to ensure that any war on the Korean Peninsula doesn't spill over into their borders, or is everyone gearing up for WWIII? View Quote I think these moves were discussed with Trump ahead of time. They want the NK borders locked down, and no surprises. |

The Norks are still Chinese puppets, why would China take out their puppet? View Quote If China is not involved in this from the very start. They risk a unified Korea and the U.S. would be even closer to their border. Smart move would be to cut the U.S loose on Fatboy. Then have the Chinese take over North Korea. What is sad is that Trump wanted to build a relationship with the Russians so they could assist us with problems like North Korea. But the short sighted MSM, politicians, American people, etc. would have nothing to do with that by claiming Trump was a Russian lover. They effectively alienated the Russians and took away Russian leverage that Trump might of used to change the game. They killed the relationship before it even had a chance to grow.
