In a less than perfect car he is extremely normal. The moment one thing goes wrong...he falters horribly. He can't operate a clutch.

He's a good driver in a  great series of cars.

How do you guys know the difference between Hamilton and Rosberg's cars when watching them go by on the track or TV.

I wish each driver had individual liveries so they can be recognized easier.

Also the T bar on top of the air boxes. Rosbergs is neon green and Hamiltons is just black. This is the same with every car on the grid, it's the easiest way to tell who is who on each team.

Ditto that. I haven't been a big follower of Indy racing these past few years, but this years Indy 500 was one crazy-assed race and about as exciting of an oval race as I've seen. The friggin mayhem on the pit stops was awesome. Can you say UNSAFE RELEASES?!?!?

I have watched an Indy race or two this year for the first time, including the Iowa short oval over the weekend... absolute melee in the pits.. I can't believe nobody got whacked.

I think I might do the Birmingham race next year, it's only a few hours away.

I kept replaying some of those Indy pitstops over just to see if any pit crew got crushed. It was unreal. That kind of melee in an F1 pit area would have the whole race red flagged. Not that I think unsafe releases should be tolerated, but it just goes to show you how sanitized F1 has become. Getting to be a complete snooze-fest. Seriously... I find myself dozing more and more while watching F1. If it wasn't for the Merc tards duking it out or Max' fearless driving... there'd be literally NOTHING interesting to watch in an F1 race right now. Boring as watching dog shit dry in the sun...

What would you call starting behind the safety car twice this year?

Indy's pit rules are kinda funky... they pretty much force these mass pitstops, particularly on ovals.  Gotta do something to make ovals interesting I guess.

Unfortunate and note that the drivers agreed with the decision (given that the FIA wouldn't start the race sooner), but thought the length of the time they were behind the car was a too long.

The rest of the race (47 laps) was boring because there is no competition.

It's all boring. Lack of competition, FIA and Bernie retardation, V6 fart-can exhaust note that would make any teenager with a Honda Accord proud, etc. The giant-balled MEN who race the two-wheeled TT races (and three-wheeled if you count those crazy/awesome sidecar racers) must look at current F1 like it's a Boy Scout Pine Wood Derby.

P.S. They should paint those penis-shaped Merc safety cars pink... cause they may be cool but a "race" is flat-out dildos every moment they're on the track.

So did we. At least there is actual passing in the TDF. I've walked-away from the past couple of F1 races. Admittedly, it was usually after Seb DNF'd, or in the case of Silverstone it was just clear that he wasn't going anywhere. If things don't seriously change next year, I'll drift away from F1. I've got more important things to do with my time than watching paint dry.

Agreed.  It's a dumb rule, but Nico's pit flagrantly broke it.

If FIA never enforces it, it will never get changed.

Also, everyone is talking about the shifting instructions, but wasn't there also something said like "Chassis default mode zero" or something like that?  That sounds like pretty obvious instructions on how to set one of the steering wheel knobs to me, and even more of a violation that the gearbox stuff.

The rule itself is bullshit. The fact they change the rules mid-season is even more bullshit.

Mandated V6s, mandated fuel limit, refueling banned, mandated fuel flow limit, artificially fast wearing tires, mandated tire pressures, now taking 90%+ of the team out of the competition, and soon to be closed cockpit open wheel cars. Where is the sport?
