Nah... I think the Steelers win. However if they do lose to the Bungles... Pittsburgh just might burn tonight.

Home winning streak on Monday Night Football is also on the line.

It sucks to see the kid injured.

On the other hand, I find it hilarious that the Dolphins are tanking deliberately and the Donkeys are achieving the same level of performance through pure incompetence.

That really sucks about Chubb.

It's amazing that the Broncos haven't had any success yet, since they actually have a pretty talented team.

Yeah not a great season start for sure.  Von and Chubb were the great 1-2 punch.  But have lost talent over the years to trades for FA compared to the 2015ish Wade Phillips D.  On the other side, we don't have a real #1 WR.  Sanders is a stud but he's not tall enough to contend for balls and TE is a mess as well.  Lindsay is a stud RB but so far, Flacco looks confused, and nobody seems to be on the same page half the time.

On the flip side, if the Steelers win tonight they're only 1 game behind the division-leading Browns/Ravens.

The Saints have gone 30 games without allowing a 100 yard rusher. Longest active streak in the NFL.

Opposing kickers are only 9 of 18 against the Chargers.

The NFC South combined for 4 passing touchdowns this week. All by Winston.

There have been 8 different backup QBs to start games so far this season. This is 4th most through week 4 since 1950. That number could increased next week with Josh Allen (concussion), Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) and Case Keenum (benched mid-game) in question.

A beer vendor at Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Dolphins) was arrested and faces charges of third degree grand larceny after he used a skimming device to charge a Dolphin's fan $724 for two beers. The fan received a bank notification right after the purchase which made them aware of the scam and led to the vendor's arrest.

Kirk is 5-27 career against teams with a winning record.

Today is the 5th anniversary of Trent Dilfer declaring the Patriots "not good anymore" after losing 41-14 to the Chiefs on MNF. Since then the Patriots are 76-18 with 5 AFCCG appearances, 4 SB appearances, and 3 SB championships.

Khalil Mack on not wanting to over celebrate Sunday's win over a divisional rival, "A dog that poop fast don't poop for long man."

Khalil Mack has 10 forced fumbles in 18 games with the Bears.

The Chicago Bears are now 5-1 when scoring fewer than 20 points since 2018. The rest of the NFL is 28-186 in such games in that span.

Browns now in a tie for first place in AFC North for first time since Week 10 of 2014, when they led by half a game. Sunday also marked first time in franchise history they had a 300-yard passer (Baker Mayfield), 150-yard rusher (Nick Chubb) and 150-yard receiver (Jarvis Landry).

The NFC South is special this season:
Saints won without a touchdown.
Panthers won with their backup QB losing 3 fumbles.
Buccaneers scored 55 against the defending NFC Champs.
Matt Ryan went 35 of 53 for 397 yards but didn't throw a TD.

The Dolphins are not in last place in the AFC. They have the strength of schedule tie breaker over the Broncos. The Broncos have lost 8 straight games.

The Broncos have NEVER started 0-5 before. They are 6.5 point dogs at the Chargers next week.

The Dolphins have not won a game since the Miami Miracle. Hope they enjoyed it.

The Falcons have trailed by double digit points for 63.8% of their offensive snaps. This is the highest rate in the league, even higher than the Dolphins (62.8%).

The player with the most guaranteed money in NFL history (Jared Goff) has 9 turnovers to 7 TDs through 25% of the season.

Rich Gannon, reportedly quoting a former coach of his, on the Lions goal line fumble, "... it's better to die as a baby than fumble on the goal line."

With last night's -3 yards rushing, Tom Brady is back at exactly 1000 yards for his career.

Even though they won, Tom Brady's passer rating of just 45.9 is his lowest since November 11th 2006. After the game, "I am frustrated when we don't play well. I am frustrated when we don't score points. I am happy when we win. It's a lot of mixed emotions."

The Patriots defense is averaging 3.25 points per game. 13 points surrendered on defense in 4 games. 10 INTs and 18 sacks.

Jay Gruden accepted a penalty on 3rd and 7 after an incompletion, making it 3rd and 17 instead of 4th and 7. The Giants went on to score a TD on that drive.

Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew has the highest passer rating (106.9) and completion percentage (69.4%) of any rookie in the Super Bowl era (1966-present) through their first 4 games.

The Jaguars are 2-0 since Ramsey made his trade request to go to a contender.

Tonight will be the first ever MNF game between to 0-3 teams.

As is, I don’t think any team is “dominating that division for the foreseeable future.”  There hasn’t been a back-to-back division winner in over a decade.

The QB of a team that scored 10 points in a loss (with his own defense playing lights out) “has nothing to do” with the loss?

Deion might want to get himself checked out by a doctor because I think those hair plugs might be effecting his brain.

Obviously Deion is correct. Dak has more fourth quarter comebacks than any other QB since 2016, the problem isn't him, it's obviously somewhere else.

Right? Now, I would agree if he said it wasn't all on Dak. He did complete 66% of his attempts. However, 16 of his 22 completed passes were for 10 or fewer yards. 20 of them were registered as short passes.

According to PFR, he attempted just 4 passes of 15+ yards all night, 2 complete, 2 incomplete. And 3 of them came in the last 30 seconds of the game.

When you're playing a team that is doing everything they can to stop the run (Elliott, 18 carries, 35 yards) you HAVE to open up the field, complete some deeper passes and make the defense pay for stacking the box. Something Dak has done pretty well up until yesterday. But he didn't even try yesterday.

1 pass attempt of more than 15 yards before the final 30 seconds of the game... That is nuts when you're averaging less than 2 yards a carry all night.

Ya know...something seems fucky here...

I pulled up the list here and while you can't change it to only count fourth quarter comebacks from 2016, you can pull up the list of 4QC's from active QB's (in bold) and just look at the ones from 2016 and later. It says Dak has 8. One of the first guys I pulled up is Derek Carr and he has 11 4QC's since 2016. Russell Wilson has 8 if you don't include the one from this season, 9 if you do. Matthew Stafford has 9 if you don't include ones from this season, 11 if you do. Drew brees has 10 if you don't include ones from this season, 11 if you do.

I think I figured out what happened. Where I think the above search went wrong is there is a difference between a come back drive (scoring in the 4th quarter when down by 1 to 8 points) and a game winning drive (scoring to win from a tied or deficit position).

If you select both on PFR, you would think you would get results for both, but you don't. It only gives you the results for a comeback because it thinks it must be BOTH a comeback and game winning drive.

If you search JUST game winning drives, it does include come backs.

With that search Dak has 14 since 2016.
It says Drew Brees and Matt Stafford also have 14.
Derek Carr 11.
Case Keenum, Marcus Mariota and Russell Wilson have 10.
Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Ben R at 9.
Kirk Cousins, Andy Dalton and Aaron Rodgers with 8.
Jared Goff, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan with 7.

Edit: All of those results are from 2016 and on.

Yes, 14 4th quarter/OT comeback win drives would be more impressive than 14 4th quarter/OT game winning drives. Still, for a relative young player to be tied for most in the NFL is impressive, IMO.

Especially for a player that supposedly sucks, can't hit the broad side of a barn, etc.

Edit: though I appreciate you being man enough to just admit "my mistake."  Some here would dig their feet in.

And just for shits and giggles, total game winning drives for QB's since 2000.

Drew Brees 49
Peyton Manning 46
Tom Brady 44
Ben R 42
Eli Manning 37
Matt Ryan 37
Carson Palmer 35
Matt Stafford 34
Philip Rivers 31
Tony Romo 29
JAY MOTHER FUCKING CUTLER 28

If you include post season, the top 5 becomes:
Tom Brady 57
Drew Brees 52
Peyton Manning 48
Ben R 46
Eli Manning 42

Yeah not a great season start for sure.  Von and Chubb were the great 1-2 punch.  But have lost talent over the years to trades for FA compared to the 2015ish Wade Phillips D.  On the other side, we don't have a real #1 WR.  Sanders is a stud but he's not tall enough to contend for balls and TE is a mess as well.  Lindsay is a stud RB but so far, Flacco looks confused, and nobody seems to be on the same page half the time.

Cortland Sutton is coming around. I believe Fant will be much better next year. Tight end is tough for rookies.

I actually think Flacco has been ok for the most part. As for the defense I have no idea what’s going on there.

It feels like Flacco will flash brilliance and then next game or even next possession he's make dumb throws or something.  Sutton does show promise for sure.  We never got see see anything from Butt due to his ACLs.

To be fair, the 4QC and GWD stat don't really vindicate Dak from those things. The stats (especially GWD) don't account for Zeke, a WR making a crazy move for YAC, or a K making a big boot.

Again, I'm not trying to take anything away from Dak, I think he is a decent QB, but I'm just not sold on the idea of using this stat to judge Dak in any fashion.

And if I'm wrong or made a mistake, it is what it is. Not like Dak's stats define me or anything

IMO, Fant looks good.

I'm glad GB got Sternberger since they missed on Hockenson and Fant, but both those other guys look like they will be decent starting TE's for the foreseeable future and Sternberger has been hurt 95% of the time since he was drafted

I feel like I'm being punished with this MNF matchup. What did we do to deserve this?

In one of my fantasy league matchups I'm currently winning 89.20 points to 88.78 points. I have James Conner left to play and he has Joe Mixon left to play.

So on top of this game being likely to be awful, I have to sit there and wonder which team is going to fuck it up worse and how that affects my outcome in fantasy, lol.

I quit fantasy last year. It's been quite refreshing.

I'm not going to watch it unless it's close late in the 4th and maybe not even then.

Someone @ me if someone throws a dildo on the field or something.
