Was scheduled for a $9.5M cap hit with $8M in cash. $1.6M dead cap. Frees up $7.9M. |

Jefferson was scheduled for $8M cap, $1.5M dead. Frees up $6.5M |
|
Edit:
Drops his 2021 cap hit to $6.9M 2022: Up to $14.3M ($18.5M dead) 2023: Up to $17.7M ($12.8M dead) 2024: Up to $17.7M ($7.1M dead) 2025: Up to $13.6M That's some serious cap commitment for a RB in the future. Following the Wimpy pay you Tuesday for a burger today system. |

$3M dead cap on a $6.9M overall. Save $3.9M. Kind of surprised on this one. His production hasn't gone down at all looking at the base numbers. Titans just scrapping their whole defense? Someone will sign this guy. Safeties are a hot commodity this year. |

They are for allowing players to go to free agency and then getting signed by other teams. Then you lose one if you sign free agents. Packers lost 4 last year (Martinez, Bulaga, Fackrell and Goodson) they signed 1 (Funchess). So they netted 3. Then the round is based on salaries. Likely the 4th was for Martinez, 5th for Bulaga and 6th for Fackrell. |

Yesterday John Clayton was saying Guards were going to be a huge part of the cap casualties, seems to be right so far. I think I have seen at least 6 or 7 Guard releases so far. Zeitler was scheduled for a $14.5M cap hit, $2.5M dead cap. Frees up $12M. |

All veteran, higher dollar dudes, and all should be available for half price except for the top 2-3. Or maybe just the top 1 (Thuney). There's another 10, all with multiple years experience, who made between $1.5M and $4M last year. Who could be real cheap fill ins for teams that are cash strapped but need a veteran guard vs taking one in the draft or a UFA. |

He came out saying that the Gov says the state is open, but the Mayor's in each city are refusing so it is all bullshit in the end. Said he would move UFC 260 to TOMORROW if they would let him hold the event with a crowd somewhere in Texas. |
