Apple has been the frontrunner in the new streaming NFL Sunday Ticket negotiations, but it has been apparently delayed again and may extend on into 2023. The cost of the service is a huge sticking point. Reportedly, Apple would like to include the Sunday Ticket package for ALL Apple TV+ subscribers ($6.99 a month). The NFL is not happy and says it needs to "protect the interests" of the NFL, CBS, FOX and other broadcast partners (basically it would be so cheap no one would bother with CBS/FOX/etc).

And this is why player's need to be protected from themselves. Dude visited 10 doctors trying to get an okay to play. That in itself is a big issue/warning sign/problem. But then he continued to try and find out if he could play even without a medical clearance. Guy knows he might not ever start again if he sits out even a single game. That's how quickly things could change in the NFL. So he is still trying to get in the game even though 10 doctors told him no already... |
