Funny how in the past half decade the only 3+ month long period we've had in-season in which the NFL thread had no shit shows or thread-derailing heated arguments was during the months you were banned. Just a coincidence, I'm sure. That’s a bizarrely specific stat. Almost like you keep records about us to call up at a moment’s notice. Nah that’s definitely not the case. You get banned for 3 (or whatever) months and there wasn't so much as a heated argument in the NFL thread (during the season no less). Then you return from your ban and the thread derailing shit shows magically start back. It wasn't subtle. I would disagree that I’ve derailed this thread since my return. Don’t you have a Rebel to shit on? Yup. Its clearly all just one big coincidence that the only time the NFL thread was free from thread derailing shitshows in-season was the 3 months you were banned and it started back when you returned. It definitely had nothing to do with you. |

He just had 350 carries because that's how the Titans do things. I wouldn't expect Henry to maintain even his current level of performance for much longer. View Quote I don't know if Henry's been overrated or overhyped. I know he was hurt half of 2021 and still had almost 1000 yards with ten tds. last season Henry had 1500 yards with 13 tds, almost 400 yards receiving, too. imho that's really good for a rb. zeke had just under 900 yards with 12 tds and just under 100 receiving. I know zeke split a lot of time with pollard, too. |

From the NFLPA team "report cards" which were based on 1,300 players being surveyed on multiple topics:
Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill ranks last among players as far as team confidence in ownership to invest in the team. The Cardinals have the worst ranked weight room in the NFL (which some players consider a safety hazard), an outdated training room and locker room, and a team policy where meals are deducted from player's paychecks should the players want food from the team facility. They are the ONLY team in the NFL that charges their own players for food. |

There's weird stuff like that, there are obvious trends like older facilities being a complaint, and then there are odd things like some teams make players have roommates when traveling while others don't. Another complaint is that teams that charter normal commercial planes don't have enough first class seats. A shocker is that the Chiefs somehow have the worst rank for training staff despite being one of the most consistently healthy teams. Teams are out there blowing up ACLs left and right and puncturing lungs, but they have better grades than the Chiefs. |

Top 3 teams: Vikings, Dolphins, Raiders Last place team: Washington Arizona Cardinals: Click To View Spoiler The Arizona Cardinals rank second to last in their overall score among the 32 NFL clubs. The locker room does not have confidence that owner Michael Bidwill is willing to invest to upgrade the facilities, as he ranks the lowest in that category across the league. The responses that provide the bases for that characterization include: the worst-ranked weight room, which some players feel is a safety hazard; an outdated training room and locker room; and a policy of deducting dinner from players' paychecks should players want to get food from the facility. The consistent sentiment in players' responses was that ownership does not provide high quality workplace facilities, and Club policies reflected the lowest rate of confidence that current ownership is willing to invest to make upgrades. Atlanta Falcons: Click To View Spoiler The Atlanta Falcons are ranked 23rd in our team guide. Many player respondents expressed a consistent complaint about not having enough room in multiple parts of their facility as they go through their workday. This feedback of players being too "crammed" focused on the cafeteria, locker room and weight room. The strength coaches are ranked as second worst in the league; the player respondents did not feel like they get an individualized plan to help make them better. Despite some of these issues, our survey shows that respondents do have faith in club owner Arthur Blank, as 100% of the responses indicated that they believe he is willing to invest in upgrades to improve the facilities. Baltimore Ravens: Click To View Spoiler The Baltimore Ravens come in ranked 17th overall in our team guide. The main areas of concern, stemming from player respondents' opinions, are a desire to improve the quality of the food, weight room equipment, recovery resources and strength staff. At the core of these issues is the team's former head strength coach, Steve Saunders (recently parted ways with); assessment of him by player respondents was markedly negative. Only 38% of player respondents felt that they receive an individualized plan for their strength training, and many complained that the training room is understaffed. The players do believe in Ravens owner Steve Biscotti's commitment to high quality, as 100% of them believe he is willing to invest in upgrades to the facility. Buffalo Bills: Click To View Spoiler The Buffalo Bills were ranked 9th overall in our team guide. The player respondents hold their staff in high regard. The complaints of some respondents center mostly around wanting to hire more staff to support the quality people that they already have there. For example, the nutritionist/dietician splits time between their hockey team (Sabres) and the Bills. Player respondents would like more trainers and physical therapists (PTs) in the training room to support the existing quality staff. At the top levels of the organization, the players enjoy playing for head coach Sean McDermott, and 100% of respondents believed the current ownership, the Pegula family, was willing to invest money into upgrading the facility. Carolina Panthers: Click To View Spoiler The Carolina Panthers are ranked 12th among all NFL teams in our guide. Overall, players feel the facility is older than most, but is still functional. The most pressing issue players reported is upgrading the pool room, a key tool for player training and recovery. Players feel the floors in the pool room are unsafe and there have been complaints of a slippery surface with players falling regularly. The good news is that there has been recent investment into areas of the facility, like the locker room; and they recently hired Frank Reich, who was rated as one of the most player friendly and respected coaches in the league by the Colts last year. The players hope to continue to see more money being put into the necessary upgrades as 92% of respondents believed that David Tepper was willing to invest money into upgrading the facilities, ranking him 18th in the NFL in that category. Chicago Bears: Click To View Spoiler The Chicago Bears were ranked 13th overall in the team surveys. The Club completed a major renovation to their practice facilities less than 5 years ago, and the players seem happy with the facility. The complaints expressed by player respondents focused more on the treatment of the players and their families. Also, both the quality of the food and the timing of the meals were flagged as issues. While players' opinions of the coaching staff in Chicago are generally positive, one major problem identified was the overall tempo and intensity of offseason workouts, which was reflected in an actual violation and punishment last offseason. Bears ownership ranks 25th when respondents were asked if they believe ownership is willing to spend money to upgrade their facilities (76%), despite being in a relatively new facility. Cincinnati Bengals: Click To View Spoiler The Cincinnati Bengals are ranked 27th in our team guide. The staff itself is well liked, and players credit head coach Zac Taylor for recent improvements that have been made which speaks to why he grades out as one of the most well-liked coaches in the NFL by his players. However, the facilities and resources offered are ranked far below average. The Bengals are one of three teams that do not provide dinner to their players; they are also one of two teams that do not provide vitamins, and they are the only team that doesn't provide supplements. Additionally, players feel that they have some of the smallest hot/cold tubs in the league; they have issues with the showers and toilets not consistently working, and they are the only team that does not have outlets in their lockers to charge devices. The players who responded to the survey also complained that there is nowhere warm and safe for mothers and kids to go during the game because the Bengals do not provide a family room, unlike the majority of teams. Players reported that wives have sat on the public restroom floor to nurse their babies. These examples are consistent with players' opinions, with only 44% of respondents believing club owner Mike Brown is willing to spend money to make the facility better, ranking him tied for 29th in this category. Cleveland Browns: Click To View Spoiler The Cleveland Browns were ranked 21st in the team guide. The player respondents expressed two major complaints the first of which is the weight room. It currently takes up about 15 20 yards of their indoor practice facility, which the players stated was already small. The second issue pertained to the locker room, which the players believe is one of the smallest in the league, resulting in many players feeling like they do not have enough personal space. On a positive note, the team's training staff and strength coaches are very well liked, and players feel like they add to their overall success. Also, 100% of the locker room believes that owner Jimmy Haslem is willing to invest money into improving the facility. Dallas Cowboys: Click To View Spoiler The Dallas Cowboys are ranked 5th best in the team guide. As you would expect for a team that is ranked this high, most of what was reviewed facilities, equipment, staff and general support of players was top notch. There were only two issues that stood out that players feel could use improvement: first, the players feel like the training room is understaffed. The Cowboys trainers grade highly, but the players wish there were more training staff. Second, they are one of seven teams in the NFL that does not offer players first-class seats for travel. Instead, coaches and staff sit up front, and players sit in coach seats both before and after they play. Another positive note, Mike McCarthy sets aside time every week for his players to recover, which is greatly appreciated, making him one of the most well-liked coaches in the league. 96% of the team believes that Jerry Jones is willing to invest to make the facilities better, ranking him at 12th overall. With an investment into more staff in the training room and better travel accommodations, the Cowboys could climb even higher next year. Denver Broncos: Click To View Spoiler The Denver Broncos are ranked 20th in our overall team guide. The survey results show that 100% of player respondents believe that the new ownership group is willing to invest in upgrading the facilities. One example is the club's decision to replace the playing surface at the end of last season, despite it being the last home game of the year. Most of the feedback received focused on services available to players, as opposed to any serious complaints about the club's facilities. This shows up in the areas of how the club treats the players' families as well as a repeated complaint about the food and dietician services. They are one of only two teams that do not offer vitamins to their players, and respondents felt that there is no customized plan for a player's nutrition. Detroit Lions: Click To View Spoiler The Detroit Lions were ranked 15th overall in the team guide. Most categories reviewed came back with generally positive reviews. The two issues that were highlighted as areas for improvement were first, a feeling that the training room was understaffed, and second, that the food service was significantly lacking. 88% of respondents to our survey believe that the club ownership is willing to invest money to upgrade their facilities, ranking 21st in the league. Green Bay Packers: Click To View Spoiler The Green Bay Packers were ranked 6th best in the team guide. As one of the best ranked teams in our league-wide survey, there are not many things that are drastically wrong here, but there is clear consensus among the player respondents regarding what they would like to see improved. For starters, while the locker room has a ton of space, players believe it can use a refresh and modernization. Second, we learned that players believe that additional physical therapists should be added to the staff; many players noted that they have outsourced their physical therapy due to understaffing. As the only team without a private owner, 82% of the players believe that the team is willing to spend the money necessary to upgrade the facility, ranking 22nd in that category. Houston Texans: Click To View Spoiler The Houston Texans finished 4th in the team guide. Their team travel philosophy ranked the best in the league. On road games, they give the players plenty of room to be comfortable; and for home games, they allow veteran players to stay in their own homes instead of the team hotel. The biggest complaint among player respondents was that the Club is one of only two teams league-wide that does not offer either a steam room or a sauna. As one would expect for a team with ratings this high, 97% of the locker room believes the McNairs are willing to invest money into upgrading the facilities. Indianapolis Colts: Click To View Spoiler The Indianapolis Colts were ranked 16th in the team guide. In general, the players feel well-supported by their team's owner, Jim Irsay, as 97% of player respondents believe he is willing to spend the money necessary to upgrade the facility. The two main issues that players have are the food so much that some players prefer to pack their own lunch rather than eat at the facility and the feeling that the team should significantly improve its travel policies for players. They are one of seven teams that do not offer first-class seats to their players (reserving them for coaches and staff instead), and one of six teams that force many players to have roommates. Jacksonville Jaguars: Click To View Spoiler The Jacksonville Jaguars ranked as the 28th best team in our team guide. As one of the worst ranked franchises in the league, there was no shortage of complaints shared by the player respondents. When asked what the number one thing they want changed at their facility, the answer was unanimous get rid of the rats! Players reported that for 3-4 weeks this season, there was a rat infestation in the locker room and laundry hampers. The second issue was the players' feeling that the team can take better care of the players' families. For example, because they do not offer a family room like most NFL teams do in their stadium, we heard of instances where players' wives nursed their babies on the floor of a public restroom. The weight room and training room were also the subject of players' complaints, although the staff itself is well-liked. It is important to note that they are in the process of building a new practice facility, so there is hope that some of these issues will be resolved soon. The locker room seems to still have faith in owner Shad Kahn, as 95% of players have confidence that he is willing to invest to make the necessary changes. Kansas City Chiefs: Click To View Spoiler The Kansas City Chiefs are ranked 29th overall in our team guide. In general, the results show that the facility feels outdated and players would like to see upgrades across the board. Only 56% of respondents believe that club owner Clark Hunt is willing to invest the money to upgrade the facility, ranking him 27th in this category. Players' responses showed that treatment of players also falls well below other clubs across the NFL. For example, the Chiefs are one of 6 teams that still make certain players have roommates, and less than 50% of players feel they have enough room to be comfortable on flights. Feedback on the training room was also notable; player respondents called for a more welcoming environment, and several players had negative opinions about head trainer Rick Burkholder, feeling that he does not treat players fairly and consistently, or with personal care. Las Vegas Raiders: Click To View Spoiler The Las Vegas Raiders ranked as the 3rd best team in our guide. With their new facilities in place now for nearly 3 years, we heard from multiple players on other teams the request to "make the facilities more like Vegas." The workplace is mostly state-of-the-art, and 90% of players believe that club owner Mark Davis is willing to spend money to upgrade the operations if needed, ranking him 20th in this category. At this workplace, the lowest graded category was the coaching staff. Player respondents felt that head coach Josh McDaniels is less likely to listen to his players and keeps them for longer hours than other head coaches around the league. Longer hours are not correlated to winning, as seven of the top eight coaches rated as being most efficient with their players' time in the 2022 survey made the playoffs this year. Los Angeles Chargers: Click To View Spoiler The Los Angeles Chargers are ranked 30th in the team guide. They are currently in a converted office building as a temporary facility and according to reports, the permanent training facility should be ready by 2024. It is understandable that the ranking and negative results reflect this temporary workplace. Player respondents shared positive feedback for their head coach Brandon Staley and strength coaches. The player respondents shared information indicating that they felt there are deficiencies with the training room, cafeteria and locker room, which all grade poorly among respondents. The maintenance for the hot and cold tubs is lacking, with multiple respondents calling them "gross." The survey results showed that 50% of player respondents believe that club owner Dean Spanos will invest money to upgrade their facilities, ranking him 28th in this category. Los Angeles Rams: Click To View Spoiler The Los Angeles Rams are ranked as the 25th best team in the league. They are currently operating from a "temporary" practice facility; however, they have not even broken ground at their "permanent" practice facility, so players expect to be working out of the current building for the foreseeable future. Players do not feel that the "temporary" facility was built to support professional athletes, and unsurprisingly, in the opinions of player respondents, it leaves a lot to be desired. The negative feedback on the facility is somewhat offset by positive feedback about the staff. The current coach, Sean McVay, supports his players as well as any other coach in the NFL. The players also think very highly of both their training staff and their strength coaches, and 95% of players feel like club owner Stan Kroenke is willing to spend money to upgrade the facilities, ranking 13th overall. The hope is that willingness to invest translates into a new building to support the players soon. Miami Dolphins: Click To View Spoiler The Miami Dolphins ranked as the 2nd best team in the NFL according to the results. The facilities grade out at the top of nearly every category, the staff is well respected, and the players feel like both the trainers and strength coaches add to their success. The only complaint among respondents for the Dolphins is that they would like a better post-game family area with more accessibility for players' families. Our survey results showed that 97% of respondents believe that club owner Stephen Ross is willing to invest money into upgrading the facilities, ranking him 8th in this category. Minnesota Vikings: Click To View Spoiler The Minnesota Vikings are ranked as the best team in our guide. 100% of the players feel like owner Zygi Wilf is willing to spend money to upgrade the facilities, and that assessment makes sense since the Vikings have gone through three significant upgrades in recent years. Their facility was recently built and is considered state-of-the-art. This past year, they replaced former head coach Mike Zimmer with Kevin O'Connell, who through his first year is regarded as one of the most player-friendly head coaches. Additionally, the former head trainer, who several players had negative experiences with, moved on from the organization. The Minnesota Vikings are a shining example of what is possible when a concerted investment is made in both staffing and facilities. New England Patriots: Click To View Spoiler The New England Patriots ranked 24th in our team guide. The player respondents' feedback from our survey described the club's facility as old, dated and in need of renovation. The staffing of the current facilities was also flagged as an issue in need of improvement, specifically in the weight room and training room. The player respondents' indicated that facilities and operations at the Patriots can use a refresh. Given the results, it is understandable that only 64% of players believe club owner Robert Kraft is willing to spend the money necessary for upgrades, ranking him 26th in this category. New Orleans Saints: Click To View Spoiler The New Orleans Saints ranked as the 10th best team in our team guide. There are some key areas where they shine, including the treatment of players when they travel and their locker room. The most common concern for Saints players is the cafeteria, as they are only one of three teams in the NFL that do not provide three meals per day to their players, and the food is rated as the fourth worst in the NFL. 93% of the players believe that owner Gayle Benson is willing to spend money to upgrade the facility and improve things, ranking them 16th overall in this category. New York Giants: Click To View Spoiler The New York Giants are ranked as the 8th best team in the team guide, with players responding positively to working at a quality, functional facility. While there are some updates which could improve their workplace, the two areas that stand out as highly rated aspects of the club are the training staff which is rated as one of the best in the league and head coach Brian Daboll. Every respondent believes that Daboll is respectful of the players' time and they also feel he is willing to listen and collaborate with them. In many players' opinions, his tenure is a stark change from former head coach Joe Judge's tenure and an example of how quickly things can improve if the club prioritizes the well-being of players. Another generally positive sentiment is that 95% of players believe the club ownership is willing to spend money to upgrade the facilities, ranking them 13th in this category. New York Jets: Click To View Spoiler The New York Jets are ranked 19th in our team guide. Their facilities all grade slightly above average, and while there was nothing overtly problematic identified in the results, there is nothing that stands out as excellent either. In general, the sentiment is that the facility is getting old and can use upgrading. 77% of players feel that owner Woody Johnson is willing to invest in necessary upgrades to these facilities, though, ranking him 24th in this category. The player respondents don't feel like the coaching staff (ranked last) is efficient with their time as they are routinely at the facilities much later than other teams in the league. Longer hours are not necessarily correlated to winning, as seven of the top eight coaches who ranked most efficient with their players' time made the playoffs this year. Philadelphia Eagles: Click To View Spoiler The Philadelphia Eagles ranked 14th overall in our guide. The major concerns expressed by player respondents relate to the team's treatment of the players and their families. They do not provide a family room for players' families at the stadium, unlike most of the other clubs. Despite not offering this to players, they do have a family room for the family members of coaches and football operations staff. The air travel also stands out as an area where players felt there could be improvement: only 51% of players feel like they have enough room to spread out, and they are one of just eight teams in the league that do not offer their players first class seats. Players also feel that the facilities can improve - less than half of the team feel like they have enough hot and cold tub space. What raises this club's overall score are the people who work with players, with training staffs and strength coaches ranking very highly. Also, they enjoy playing for Head Coach Nick Sirianni who is ranked as one of the most player-friendly coaches in the league. Club owner Jeffrey Lurie ranks 8th in the NFL, with 97% of the players believing he is willing to upgrade the facility. Pittsburgh Steelers: Click To View Spoiler The Pittsburgh Steelers ranked 22nd in the team guide. The common theme that arose through player respondents' feedback was a feeling that there is a lack of resources and investment into the facility. Player respondents believe that the team is understaffed in both the weight room and the training room; and, unlike the majority of the league, they do not offer a family room or daycare for the players' families on gameday. Only 44% of players who responded feel like Steelers owner Art Rooney II is willing to invest money into upgrading their facilities, ranking him tied for 29th in this category. San Francisco 49ers: Click To View Spoiler The San Francisco 49ers are ranked 7th among all NFL clubs in our team guide. The responses for the team were positive in all but one section: the training room, a crucial area for players to rehab and recover. The tubs and rehab pool are viewed as small and there are a lack of tables and space in the training room itself. Jed York ranked 7th among team owners for his willingness invest money into upgrading their facilities, so there is a belief that investment will be made to ensure these areas are upgraded to meet the high standards set by the rest of the facilities. Seattle Seahawks: Click To View Spoiler The Seattle Seahawks ranked 11th in the team guide. The club scored well in most of the areas reviewed with the most positive feedback resulting from a nice facility with plenty of space. The Seahawks have a very nice locker room, a good weight room and earned positive reviews on their cafeteria. There are just two areas where player respondents believe that they lag compared with most of the league: staffing their training room and team travel. In short, there is a desire to have more staff support player training and recovery, and also improve on making travel more comfortable for players, as they are one of only seven teams that do not offer players first class flights the only exception being after road victories. With the facility scoring well, it is no surprise that 93% of players believe Seahawks ownership is willing to invest money in upgrading the facilities. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Click To View Spoiler The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ranked 26th in our team guide. The highest graded areas of their operations are the weight room, the strength coaches and training staff. Besides those three things, players would like to see improvement in nearly every other aspect of their operations. For example, they do not offer any childcare or a family room for players' families, unlike most NFL clubs. Players feel their locker room is small and outdated and their travel policies are uncomfortable they are one of 6 teams that make a large segment of their players have roommates for road games and one of 8 teams that do not offer players first class seats. Player responses indicate that there is a lot of room for improvement in Tampa, but only 79% of the players feel like the Glazer family is willing to invest money into upgrading the facilities, ranking them 23rd among all clubs in this category. Tennessee Titans: Click To View Spoiler The Tennessee Titans ranked 18th in the team guide, with most of the areas of review coming back at slightly above average according to player respondents. Head Coach Mike Vrabel is popular among his players and stands as one of the highest-ranked coaches in the league. Player respondents' major concerns centered around personal space, both in the facility and while traveling. Players indicated that there is not enough personal space in the locker room; 34% of the players feel they do not have enough room to spread out on the plane. The Titans are one of six teams that still make younger players have roommates, and one of seven teams that do not have players sit in first class. 91% of players feel that Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk is willing to invest money into upgrading their facilities. Washington Commanders: Click To View Spoiler The Washington Commanders are ranked 32nd (last) in our team guide. Besides the strength coaches who received great feedback and grades as one of the best groups in the league, the rest of the club's operations and facilities were rated by player respondents at the bottom of every single category.
The locker room does not have confidence that club owner Dan Snyder is willing to invest to upgrade the facilities, as player responses rank him 31st in this category. Players had significantly more concerns with each area of the facility than the player respondents on any other team. For example, they were the team most consistently identified as having an understaffed training room. Players also reported that they have some of the smallest hot and cold tubs for players' recovery, and only 35% of players feel like they have enough personal space in their locker room. Finally, there are complaints of a lack of warm water and issues with poor drainage in the showers. Only 22% of players feel like they have enough space on team flights. The Commanders are one of six teams in the NFL that make a segment of their players have roommates before games and one of seven teams in the NFL that do not offer their players first class seats. |

The facilities grade out at the top of nearly every category, the staff is well respected, and the players feel like both the trainers and strength coaches add to their success. The only complaint among respondents for the Dolphins is that they would like a better post-game family area with more accessibility for players' families. A judge has ruled in Michael Irvin's favor in a request for expedited evidence in his $100M lawsuit against Marriott and one of their female employees.
Marriott must now provide Irvin with any and all video recordings, witness statements and written reports related to the pre-Super Bowl incident. The exact nature of her accusation still isn't clear as neither her or Marriott have released a statement regarding what she claims happened. The Phoenix police said they still have not received any criminal complaint. Marriott may redact the female employee's name, but all evidence must be submitted by 5pm on March 7th. |

I am not surprised at the cardinals, I don’t remember the player but he said when he signed a contract with them they overnighted the contract to him to sign, and they deducted the cost of that, around $10.00, from his check. |

View Quote The facilities there can't be that bad, they were state of the art exactly 20 years ago when the taxpayers built their stadium, $100 Million over budget at that. Mike Brown is notoriously cheap. Unless he upgraded recently, his daily driver is a Chevy Lumina. And a brand new stadium didn't cost him one cent. |

The Kansas City Chiefs are ranked 29th overall in our team guide. Now they have been tagged as the worst team in the NFL to play for—and that’s according to the players themselves. Washington’s football team, which owner Dan Snyder is exploring selling, ranked last in a new survey conducted by the NFL Players Association that rated teams in eight categories, including the treatment of players’ families, nutrition, the training staff and team travel. In three categories, the Commanders received an F- grade. View Quote |

The Dimopoulus Law Firm ran a commercial with Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby in a generic black and silver uniform that had no NFL/Raiders logos/trademarks.
The NFL sent them a cease-and-desist letter anyways vowing to sue if the law firm did not pull the commercial. The law firm responding by filing a lawsuit against the NFL first. Free publicity for the law firm at the hand of the NFL. Better than any commercial. |
