Honestly, I doubt I'd get on any submarine that went that deep. Send down an unmanned rover with a camera and I'm good. Heck I've been to amusement parks and watched people on rides swinging to and fro thought, damn, I hope the engineers who built that thing understood the weight and mass of that swinging gizmo. I don't consider myself a chickenshit either. I've run big dozers on mountainsides and excavators over floating ocean ice but deep pressure depth, yeah, no thanks.

I was in 5th grade when the first shuttle exploded, before the internet, cell phones, and social media. Yet dark humor had spread NASA jokes within days even on an elementary school playground. |
