Dating rules if the man pays based on the expenditure scale.
If the ladies meal costs $0- $25 No expectation is justified. $26-$50 A tongue kiss is expected and required. $51-$70 1st base is expected but it assumes that first base is worth it. If first base is not worth it, the woman should give up 2nd base as it is not the mans fault god shorted you. $71-$99 Second based is expected with reciprocation. $100-$150 Unwritten social rule is that the lady gives the sex. +$150 Requires she be open for it all and makes you breakfast in bed. If she cannot make a decent breakfast it is eject time and consider the $150+ a small price to pay to find out. |

IDGAF, but I'm the traditional type that doesn't mind being the one paying for dinner. But I also don't go on dates to anywhere particularly expensive.
(I mean, I'm open to more expensive places once you're actually in a relationship, but nothing's ever progressed far enough to get to that point with me personally.  )

I don’t understand the whole issue with who pays.
I think I bought pizza 1st date but that’s because that’s what was close and fast. If a guy took me to Wendy’s I’d be okay with it. I’ve had first dates at ice cream parlors too. Seems like #2 date was I fixed steaks.  Even four plus years in we each pay for meals. It’s not something we ever got all that hung up on. |

I had an office manager once who told me that all of her friends routinely had guy" friends" or dates that they took specifically to eat out during the week without paying.
there were like 3-4, 20-26 year old women who did this and saw nothing wrong with it because the men offered to pay. I was told that 2-3 were on Sugar Baby websites and that is where they found their marks. |

when I was still in the Army, I knew this hyuuuge girl from the Fort Bragg area. She was probably approaching 300lbs.
She was always going out to dinner with random dudes from the old school dating sites (like yahoo personals). She was rarely interested in the guy, just the free meal. It was funny and sad at the same time. Funny for a “big” girl to go out with basically anyone for free food, and sad that so many guys were chasing her lol |
