Here is the ONLY bit of information that really matters in this entire "debate" (air quotes intentional, because it's anything BUT a legitimate debate

While the stats only go through 2017, it's safe to assume that numbers for 2018 and 2019 will be similar. So, a whopping ~400 people PER YEAR are killed by rifles (which includes "assault" weapons/rifles). Sorry, not sorry, to break it to the gun grabbers — but in a country with 320+ million(!) people, 400 is statistically insignificant — i.e. it's a statistical ZERO. Period. So no, we're not banning or confiscating anything based on a statistical zero. I urge anyone else willing to do so, to start pushing back with this exact narrative, and by all means use the above graphic since it's 100% public info available directly from the FBI's own website. |

And the vast majority is isolated to a handful of major metro areas. |
