Cops must have had something on him before they tried to pull him over. I have yet to see a cop pull someone over for failing to use a turn signal --- I WISH THEY WOULD!!! But I think they were on him for some other reason and jumped on it when he failed to signal.

While I agree there have been some out there conspiracy theories in this thread, and they are out there, it's obvious that some gun crime drives the discussion in a preferred direction and some doesn't. I hate the derp too, but remember, just because you're paranoid...doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

They say he didn't signal at the required distance from the turn. The only place I've ever known to routinely do that is Driscoll TX, where they'll stop those Mexican convoys and ultimately impound their vehicles for a couple days because they don't have the insurance required. Hell, maybe the guy was swerving drunk or driving slowly because he was texting or talking. |

From Houston, along I-69/US Hwy 59 N ,out 80-100 miles specifically.
It"s simple really. Labor Day weekend, tons of traffic and a lot of drinking and driving. Four people in the car. They get pulled over. Trooper One conducts the stop and deals with the driver. Trooper Two manages the other 2-3-4 passengers who are usually removed from the car ( it's really hot here and unsafe to stay in a car from 20-30 minutes) and are standing/kneeling on the roadside, facing away from road. I travel 120 miles a day , six days a week on I-69/59 and see this played 3-4 times week. The two man unit eliminates a long 5-10 minute response for back up. |

Media is trying to rip apart Abbott's comments saying he promised a blue ribbon committee early on to solve this but there's been 5 mass shootings in Texas since and action isn't happening. Really keying in on banning "weapons of war" as the action the left sees that will stop this.
