Quoted: A pic you took during your vacation in London is a "fact" about the ethnic composition of the city. Are you high? You're the one calling my son a liar. If he says there's a shitload of muslims guess what? its because he's right. Check out the wikipedia link explaining the ethic composition of London if you have a problem understanding that. That was in 2011 and the city has grown in population 40% since then, mostly "asian" immigrants. I have maybe 10GB of pictures from all over the world and I bet I can go through half of them looking pretty damn good, which like your holyday pics proove nothing at all. View Quote I never said I didn’t see a number of Muslims. Your son said there were “no white people there”. If you look hard enough, you might find a burka or beard in my photos. Why are you trying to put words into my mouth? Simply stated that my experience was not the same when visiting...as a tourist....same places as your son. The difference is that I actually provided evidence. |

Dont get me wrong in general he had a good time. As I was saying he didnt go with any negative preconceptions. Maybe if he had gone with a very negative idea of what to expect he would have been more pleasantly surprised. We're talking with some other parents about organizing another trip sooner. It really is cheap to travel around EU. UK was one of the most expensive options but since they are leaving the EU soon it made more sense to do it now. Traveling to Prague for example is much cheaper. Hell, you can probably find tickets for 100 bucks and the hotel isnt all that much more. Sometimes you find tickets for 40 or 50 bucks. I was just there three years ago, and I saw little of that. I did see several homeless on a side street in the West End after seeing a play. They were just bedded down.
