Georgia is currently favored by 10.5 points against Tennessee in the de facto SEC East Championship game.

That’s about double what I was expecting the line to be.

If you honestly believe that, and aren't just trolling, you can put $100 on that happening and if you're right you'll win over $800.

I’m not sure who wins that game, but it’ll damn sure be one to watch.

A Damn Good Dawg indeed!
His skills were amazing.

Although primarily a running back, his versatility allowed him to fill a multitude of roles over his career, including quarterback, defensive back, punter, and return specialist. A "quintuple-threat", Trippi was adept at running, catching, passing, punting, and defense.
And he played baseball.

If she was running at him or even jogging towards his general direction I could entertain some of the excuses people on social media are making for him.

However, she wasn't.  She was just standing there and then he walks by and punches her in the head.

Their douche bag $1.00 band thought it would be cute to form up “2nd and 26” the first game after their natty win vs Georgia.  Cracks me up that the bammers think it’s funny. I’d be fucking embarrassed as a UGA fan if our band did some shit like that, especially bama.  They should act like they’ve won 18 (or whatever the hell it is) championships

Most fans don't really care what the band does...............usually that's when you get up and go get something to eat or go to the bathroom so you don't miss the start of the 3rd quarter.

What is amusing is that it bothers people so much...........

I only know about it because the douchebag bammers were plastering it all over the interwebz.

It’s amusing to me that a team who has won so much does something so childish and gets a big kick out of it.  It’s classless, which I suppose is to be expected.

Haven’t heard the outcome yet, but a suspension at a minimum if not kicked off the team.  No excuse to lay hands on a girl without her permission.

She shouldn’t have been on the field, but Burton was in the wrong.  Conferences can stop this.  Automatic forfeit would be a powerful deterrent.

Well fans rushing the field is totally a thing and aside from drastic measures it won't change.

Happens so much at TTU MBB that they have a procedure. Clear the other team then the fans can come into the court and they sing the Matador Song with the team, coaches, and fans.  Happens every home game now.

Apparently some do……… and it bothers them.
I guess it’s an isolated incident…….. no other bands or fans of other teams have ever done anything like that to provoke such ire

Ghetto culture infiltrated the NFL first and it’s filtered down to college football.  Honestly, the vast majority of players now don’t belong on a college campus and discipline isn’t anything they’re going to respond to because they’ve never been exposed to it.

And NIL is only going to make this worse. Hopefully there is or will be some type of code of conduct written in these deals.

I won’t hold my breath because it’s probably the same big money donors who are stupid enough to sign all these coaches to contracts that require tens of millions to buy out.

I’d like to know the details of Ohio States deal with Quinn Ewers who supposedly made 7 figures, never played and bolted to Texas only to sign another deal that supposedly has him driving around in a Lambo.

Really strange that something that’s as big of a deal as NIL isn’t transparent at all.  I’ve seen very, very little about how much players are getting and who they’re getting it from.

Yeah it looks pretty bad.  This year's Bama lacks discipline

yep. same bama team doing horns down on the field after the win over the sips. F the sips and all but i wouldnt expect this stuff from a saban team.

One would hope………but until the people who offer those deals realize the potential harm to their brand caused by a players actions, I wouldn’t hold my breath

My understanding is the biggest problem with NIL is the laws vary from state to state so all the schools aren’t all operating under the same guidelines.

Problem with fans on the field but unnecessary

If she was running at him or even jogging towards his general direction I could entertain some of the excuses people on social media are making for him.

However, she wasn't.  She was just standing there and then he walks by and punches her in the head.

It's not easy to publish things like salaries outside the .education system for students much less student athletes.

That is a big problem with it.   The NCAA should have set rules for it across the board, but since they were the ones that made the NIL happen, they’re distancing themselves from it hoping everyone forgets who was responsible.  I’m surprised the Power 5 conferences haven’t addressed it by now.

I think you're missing the big picture (and the reason why the NCCA *can not*).  The SCOTUS ruled that they can't.  But more specifically Justice Kavanaugh told them in his concurring opinion that not only was the current matter illegal, but he sees many other practices that the NCAA engaged in as being illegal too and he encouraged others to bring suit against the NCAA.

Dude nutered the NCAA in his concuring opinion.

As for the primary ruling, the SCOTUS ruled that the NCAA is effectively a monopoly.  Combine that with the concurring opinion from Kavanaugh, and if that implies that the NCAA is toothless.  If they piss anyone off, then that individual can sue that they are forced to work in/with with the NCAA because there are no other options, no competitors.  The SCOTUS already foreshadowed they are more than eager to bring those cases on the docket given the opportunity and will rule against the NCAA again.

So the NCAA stepped back and just let a free for all happen.  It's the only way they as an organization can survive short term.  But they all see the writing on the wall.  The NCAA is dead.

I think the board and senior leaders are working behind the scenes to structure a new org in the CFP to take over, dissolve the NCAA, then after a cooling off period they'll take new offers from the CFP to continue their careers.

Saban asked other schools to be transparent with NIL data and then Alabama failed to provide data, when asked.

Not sure which is worse - the teams or the ACC officiating.
