OH, MAN!!!! THAT was a gun wayyy ahead of it's time.....it was obsolete before it was en vogue!!!! I would LOVE to shoot one!!!! View Quote Ok for me, Ive shot a lot of stuff over the years both precision and spray and pray. Its a toss up between a suppressed .338LM and an MP5 clone with Can and Binary. |

M79 was a blast, especially with the shotgun round, it whistled.
M249 because full auto belt fed goodness. |

My great grandfather's old single shot .22 with my dad when I was 6. That rifle will belong to my son one day. Grandfather to grandson to grandson.

Firing my Stoner 63A with 100% tracer into the air at parachute flares and writing in the sky. Not many places you can shoot like that and it was damn fun.

Took a new shooter out with an assortment. He loved the ruger pc carbine the best. It is a hoot, but I like the AR better.

I honesty don’t shoot much at all but I bought a 17hmr a recently and that is the most fun I’ve ever had shooting.
I don’t find fun in hardly anything anymore. |
|
I dont know if it falls under rifle, but first thing to come to mind is a suppressed AM180 full auto. That thing was a hoot!
|
|
Full Auto - hands down FN MAG, MP5 and a S. African copy of the Mac10. I think I liked the MP5 best.
Semi - tossup between the FAL we had on the farm and DI .45 a guy had at the local range. Single shot - Sharps replica. |

ITT we find out who knows what a rifle is and those people that don't.
My buddy's suppressed .17HMR |

For me fun means accurate. Hitting what I aim at regardless of range, size of the target, etc.
Most fun I've had with a rifle I own is the M700 VS in .223 Rem. Used to make head shots on groundhogs in the field even when I could only see part of the head (they can be sneaky) even when my buddies would tell me there was no way to make those shots. Most fun I've had with a rifle I own that I never killed anything with is the old Rem. 03A4. I could bust, on average, 3 out of 5 water filled 1 gallon milk jugs at 500 yds. with my 180 grain Sierra Matchking loads. I knocked a crow silly (it did eventually stop flopping/fluttering around and fly up to sit on a limb) at 600 yds. Those were the days. My eyes were exceptional, my body was younger (stronger, not stiff/sore/hurting all the time) and I got to practice shooting just about any time I had the time. |
|
Of all the rifles I have, none have put a smile on my face like my RAR with CCI Quiet. I need to look into a suppressor.

Hand built replica of an "Indian trade gun" in 12ga. Brown Bess musket flintlock, 90 grains of FFG powder and a one ounce .710 patched lead ball.
For a muzzleloader it would get your attention. |
|
8mm Mauser a member at the range let me shoot. I can’t pinpoint exactly why, but I really liked that rifle. Smooth action. Nice little thump. And accurate as hell with irons.

Belt fed full auto M60e3.
I'd trade everything I have for one.. |

I have friends who own Class III guns and I've shot them to the point of boredom. I have a quirky rifle, a Calico semi-auto .22lr, 100 round magazine with a threaded barrel for my suppressor. It's a fun gun - and cheaper than a MG.
|
|
Noreen ULR. The massive BOOOOOOOMMMMM made it awesome.
I’ve got a .22 SBR AR with a 4” barrel, 7” handguard, and spectre 2 that sits inside. That little thing is a hoot to shoot all day |

My most favorite is a Chicago typewriter owned by a couple coyotes in Northern California and my second favorite was my USMC issue M16A2 with an M203 grenade launcher stuck to it.
The only sucky part was having to clean the A2 with the M203 after everyone in the platoon playing grenadier all day long. It got a little smokey. By far, it was worth it. |

In no particular order, M1 Carbine
Nylon 66 Ppsh41, if I feel like spending some money. |

I know I'll catch all kinds of hell but My SKS is the funniest gun I shoot. I'm serious, there is something about it I can't get enough of.

I have had more fun shooting my NM AR15's than anything...I love the platform, open sights and accuracy.
I love to shoot prone slow fire the most. |

.300 blk bolt gun shooting subs with a can. Stupid quiet, like a BB gun.
Pop.... TING! :) |
