Trump should not waste one iota of MAGA on marijuana. There are plenty of blue state shitholes where recreational marijuana is legal. Potheads can go to those shitholes if their high is their priority. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Everything that does not directly negatively impact another person should be 100% legal
Being the leader of that means winning forever We can shrink LEO by more than 2/3rds so they are the only losers. And since they are public employees I dont care what they think |

Float the idea just to blow people's minds. Better yet, keep it in his back pocket and throw it when he needs a distraction.

CNN just keeps digging. Trump's approval with blacks is now ~35%; I wonder how high they can push it by election day.
Trump is delivering results and the Dems are acting like lunatics. |

You remind me of the retards that got prohibition in the constitution. We all know how well that worked out. View Quote The government is supposed to ban things when there is a specific grounds to do so, not ban everything then only unban the “worthwhile” things. Whitelisting and blacklisting are opposite concepts Retards can’t tell the difference and think about the government like they are still a school child with a list of allowed backpack items |

Regardless on your thoughts on Jazz Cabbage, Trump should remove it from Schedule I ahead of the 2020 election, as its a potential huge win for him, and robs the democrats of a powerful campaign issue.

F that. Not a single state in the continental US with legal recreational marijuana went for Trump in 2016. View Quote |

But, but, but the 'evangelicals' and other 'drugs are bad mkay' folks will vote the D if Trump does this...

It really should be a state issue. Market it that way and you won’t even piss off people who think that it should be illegal.

Legalize every f*cking thing, give it away free in jail and let everyone who wants it OD.

You do understand that it is illegal at the federal level even if it is legal at the state level? It creates some serious issues in those states, especially for businesses. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Quoted: How is it legal in multiple states right now and simultaneously not a state issue? The US is going socialist in many places, yet potheads remain singularly devoted to their high. Marijuana enthusiasts can spend their coherent hours getting a Turbotax "pothead edition" and leave MAGA the fuck alone. Trump doesn't smoke it, it wasn't a campaign promise and drug dealers accounting headaches don't move my GAF meter in any way. |

Trump isn't Trudeaux and he does not need to legalize weed to get elected.
We have one week to go and the potheads are reeling like they just took over this country, I think it's going to backfire. I think Trump is smugly going to sit in the background and watch the shitshow going on across his northern border and come out with many " I told you so's" |

The federal government shouldn't be able to ban anything ever. It's a state issue. Once you give the feds the ability to regulate property, they will zealously.

"Pot" legalization will likely cost Pharma companies billions per year. Just think of all the people now addicted to highly dangerous benzos and opioids, etc who could switch to non-physically addictive (and cheaper?) Marijuana.
Oklahoma's legalization was opposed by a nice (even) half a million dollar grant to a newly founded 501c, wonder where that money came from? CBD oil is a God send to lots of people. CBD oil was legalized in Oklahoma 2015 Katie and Cayman's Law (named after children whom the law was targeted at helping), but with no legal way to obtain it people have been illegally smuggling it from out of state for years now. What a mess. |

Legalize it.
Keep big tobacco and pharmaceutical companies out. Cut farm subsides that way they can grow the Devils lettuce a product that's in demand. Win for everyone. |
|
Sell it as a 10th Amendment issue and leave it to the states. Get fed.gov out of it.

Would be the greatest couix ever against the demoncraps. Why obungo didnt do or hitlert didnt run on it it ill never know View Quote They can pay all of the lip service they want, but neither Clinton nor Obama would do jack shit to cut back on both the means and reason to control the population. Federal Schedule One status gives them a legal tool to seriously fuck with any person, business or state involved with pot the minute they get "out of line". |

I swear to god, if Trump even mentioned pushing pot legalization today, Republicans would sweep the midterms by a landslide. 20% of Democrat voters are young people who only care about pot, and think Republicans are the enemy. Changing that perception would destroy the Democrat base. Guaranteed. Heck, if it took 20% of the black vote alone, then it’s game over for the Democrats. I don’t think the Democrat Party would even survive if Trump can actually get it legalized because they would be so irrelevant at that point that a new Larty would have a better chance of defeating Republicans.
The traditional Republicans waaaay underestimate how important of a on issue pot legalization is to libertarian and liberal types, who consider it an absolute infringement of their freedom to not be able to grow and smoke pot. |
