Any tweets from Trump condemning this? His "best people" should have alerted him by now.

Wow! So the VSP jumped straight to Brown Shirt status, kicking people out of the peoples house watching the peoples business being done by the peoples "representatives".
Good luck VA! |

Next step....
This will get much worst way before it gets any better. The ball will continue to roll until it finally hits the wall. The wall will be there. |

Magazines over 12 rounds banned. Floorplate issue removed. Silencers can be kept, but you need your threaded barrel weapons purchased before July1. No registration requirement. Grandfather banned weapons. Still total horseshit and unacceptable. ETA banned mags over 12 rounds must leave the state, for those that would comply. View Quote |

I'm not surprised, but I am surprised by the response, a fucking riot line, and order to disperse what fucking country is this?

That verbiage was removed. The licensing bit was scrapped entirely in the bill that was passed out of committee, and simple possession was removed as being a crime. You can only transfer grandfathered guns to immediate family members or heirs. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

The United States is NOT a "Democracy" whereby 51% can vote away the rights of 49% - we have a Republic with a Bill of Rights which limits government and recognized God-given rights which cannot be taken away. This is the KEY issue. BUT we still those CONservative celebrity politicians and talking heads repeating the lie that we are a democracy. I give President Trump much credit for emphasizing at the State of the Union address that we are a Republic - now is the time for him to back up his words with strategy and action.
Always trying to have the majority on the side of the 2nd Amendment will NOT work in the long run and certainly will NOT work in high-population democrat/socialist/communist districts. What takes the power away from the democrat/socialist/communist strategy or redistricting and flooding cities (with illegals who can vote/immigrants who want their flavor of socialism they are used to) is a strict adherence to what a Republic is. |

How does that shit work? I mean you can buy a threaded glock or M&P barrel in fucking NC or TN or WVa, how the fuck can they prove you didn't have it before July 1st, 2020? Fucking assholes. Quoted: So that means they at least used lube. Sorry Virginians! View Quote This was planned from the get go. They started with what they want a year from now, and backed off half way to appear reasonable. They can say they compromised, when in reality they are taking exactly what they want, while giving nothing. The next shooting they will go for a registry. Then suppressors. And on, and on. When the boogaloo ensues. Democrats will say “we compromised! Why are they becoming violent? We were reasonable. If they can’t hit a deer with 12 bullets, the deer deserves to live. All this over the size of their beloved ‘clips’. These gun nuts are a menace to society”. Attached File |

Quoted: Absolutely..... Not my state, but this shit pisses me off. The state spoke. All of those sanctuary counties, and they push this through anyway. Every one of them needs to be jobless (the rest isn't COC). View Quote A month ago I was pointing out in other VA threads that NYS counties were passing anti SAFE resolutions and it had absolutely no impact on the outcome. I was basically told that VA would be different. In the end there is no difference. Your rural low population counties are having state law dictated to you by a handful of high population urban counties whose residents probably think of their country cousins as embarrassing hicks. Same as NYS |
