This seems like a rant without a cause. It's half an inch difference barrel length, more or less negligible from either way you approach the argument.
Sure the grip is what prints but maybe some of us non-slender types don't want too long of a barrel poking us. What if John C Holmes carried appendix?  But the grip of a standard G19 is just in-between for me, I can almost get my pinky around it but not quite, it's like the uncanny valley of grips. I hated it. I prefer longer, but even shorter might have been better rather than the tease. I'd have no issue with owning a G19x. The color is kinda cool too. |

I carried a G30 for years and loved it, but I recently went to the 43x and it's much lighter, but I don't notice anything size-wise.
Then again I'm not fat and AWB so neither was an issue. |
