That's because it's sold and shipped by a third party now, not Walmart.

Walmart had 20 gauge 3 inch winchester steel for $3.00 a box.  12 gauge 3 inch dry-lock was $4.50 a box
Shot size was 2 and 4
I got 200 rounds for $30.00
4 for the price of one ain't bad
Wish I could find some BB or T on clearance

I bought one and returned it. The cord holding the release slipped a bit when I was testing it. It scared the hell out of me as I thought it was going to dry fire. I know I had the clamp screws cranked down too. Not a good length adjustment system.

I grabbed this one instead for the same $. It’s much nicer.

3 pack of Horton/wicked ridge/ten point bolts. -$7
Normally $29.

https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=22177930

My store showed out of stock on brickseek, but there were 20+ of them on the shelf.

They were listed at $15, but rang up $7.

Went to cabelas and got fitted to the Bear Pledge today. A part was missing from the bow and they replaced it along with fixing some freing of the string on the peep sight. All this and range time was free

On my way home I picked up 20 arrows at $1 each, they had different types on clearance between $1 and $6 at this Walmart. Cabelas brand started at $55 for I think it was 5 arrows.

Also at this Walmart :
Trophy Ridge 4 Banger Quiver $5 UPC 754806122274
True Fire X-Caliper II release $5 UPC 045437031487
Limbsaver Twistlox Dampeners $4 UPC 697438047310
X Factor Supreme Wrist Sling $5 UPC 030955175195

$79 + $60 savage rebate I am into it, just need some field tips, hunting tips and a case

Lodge cast iron grill on clearance for $64
Lodge Deep Skillet 3 QT on clearance for $19

you know that if you go to page one and, in internet explorer, click on edit, then find on this page your can search for the word lodge and you can jump to the word lodge all the way down the page.  in chrome, click the 3 dots up on the right and choose find on page and do the same.  no more crosseyededness.  lol

For those of you in North Texas, don't waste your time going to Anna looking for the Bear Pledge bows which are showing 2 in stock.  Got there this morning, and they were apparently "stolen" last week.

Yeah i like that Trufire. You can adjust the length of pull(which is great for guys with gigantic hands like me) as well as making the trigger pull shorter/longer. It's a very nice release.

What's the deal on the traditions black powder rifles? Mine has the ultralight for 139 and the other for 99. Also a bunch of bullets and powder on sale.
Are they worth it? Would be first BP gun.

very worth it for the price.  i've gone through several in the last year.  i get them at clearance time.  shoot the crap out of them.  clean them up and then sell them when i get bored and usually make $50 or so.   They are a very seasonal item.  around muzzloader season, folks will pay close to retail for them.  right after season, they cant give them away fast enough.

if you get one of the scoped models, when you are ready to sell it, take the scope off and sell it unscoped.  the konus scopes retail for around $100 and sell for $40 to $50 easily

Well as someone who's never had a bow, now I do.

Had my sister pick me up a Pledge today when she was in the city shopping.

So, where's a good "beginner's guide to setting up and shooting a bow"?

Thanks for the heads up about the Bear Pledges in Anna Tx . How the hell can they get stolen aren't they supposed to lock up those ~$400 bows? Shame on that store.

Found a crossbow sling for 7 bucks. When I opened the package, it is a single point sling very similiar to the ones you buy for an AR. Plus it has a Picatinny rail adapter included.
Killer Instinct Bone Collector is the name.
Wish I had bought every one.

Snagged one of the $5 Trophy Ridge 4 Banger quivers.

Still gotta snag one of the releases, after that I just need some arrows and I should more or less be ready to bow hunt.

Not including arrows I'll be into this setup for about $120 including tax.

I fent today on a Salute for my Wife's Valentine's day gift. Every time The Hunger Games is on, she says she wants a bow....  It was still marked $154 but scanned $74.  There was still a Pledge there too in Bristol, Va.

.308 Boresnakes are down to $3.50 from $12 and change.

Camo flex jeans/pants are down to $5 a pair from $30.  I grabbed a few pair for myself and my son.

$1 camo baseball caps down from $3.50.  I love these things and they are my go to fishing/hunting cap.  I think 3.50's a deal cause I usually sweat in them real good a few times and toss them. I have 10 more now.

2 is a very suspect number on brickseek, for me anyways. Whenever I look something up, and brickseek show a quantity of 2 in stock, I almost always come up empty.

Fishing rod/reel combo's are also on clearance.  I picked up a couple of the 10ft crappie spinning rod/reel combos for my son on Christmas for $39/ea.  They are an even $30 now.  Might see if I can return my new ones and buy these back.

Ozark trail coolers are coming down on clearance too. Not sure the sizes but the smallest one is at $60 down from $86.  If hits $40 I'll grab a couple. Would rather have a few lightweights vs a giant one for the pontoon this summer.

In the past 48 hours, I purchased 5 Bear Pledges, 150+ arrows, 5 releases, string wax, broadheads, field points, quivers, stabilizers, etc.

As we were walking out of the last store, my son said "Dad, our truck looks like that scene from Red Dawn."
