Quoted: What is the graduation rate from those ten high schools? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Among the list of 23 schools, there are 10 high schools, eight elementary schools, three Middle/High schools and two Elementary/Middle schools. Exactly 2,000 students, in total, took the state math test at these schools. Not one could do math at grade level. “These kids can't do math. You're not preparing them to buy groceries. You're not preparing them to do accounting, to count their own money. You're not preparing them to read contracts and negotiate salaries,” said Patterson. https://foxbaltimore.com/news/project-baltimore/state-test-results-23-baltimore-schools-have-zero-students-proficient-in-math-jovani-patterson-maryland-comprehensive-assessment-program-maryland-governor-wes-moore# What is the graduation rate from those ten high schools? Just do the math. Or don’t do the math. Either way graduation rate 100%. No child left behind wether they earned it or not. ![]() |

American high school education is pretty bad, it lags far behind other Western countries by a long way. Combination of bad schools and stupid kids. It's been that way for 30 years.

Lol. something funny I just noticed while looking at local schools...
If you subtract the percentage of kids on free lunch from 100 you get the percentage of kids who're proficient. Maybe 5% margin of error. Imagine that. |
|
Easy solution. Just simply throw more money at the schools.
That'll do it. |

Dupe…

"23 schools, there are 10 high schools, eight elementary schools, three Middle/High schools and two Elementary/Middle schools."
Exactly 2,000 students took the test? That is less than 90 students per school..... what are the rest of the students doing? |

100% agree with every comment in this thread, as well as the one from 2/10.
Keep voting Democrat, fools! Keep getting those government checks that your Democrat masters provide, so you can remain on the Democrats' plantation. 21st Century slavery, racism, Jim Crow, and segregation - and they are signing up for it in droves, without a hint of relenting. And we're 3 years into the Woke 20s, it's all on steroids now |

I always notice how shitty my students are at math. This is grades 6-8 and they don't know their multiplication tables. It's like how do you not know 6x6? Finally I ask a 3-5 grade math teacher, thinking she'll tell me they don't want them to memorize the multi tables, some progressive education bullshit. Nope. She said they try to teach them to memorize the tables. They make up songs, poems, all kinds of tricks. They can't or won't memorize the multiplication tables. Math is bad. Real bad.

and the corrective action will be
A: lowering standards for everyone B: busing gifted students in from other schools and ruining their education C: raising expectations, holding students accountable and expelling the trouble makers from the schools |

Now imagine growing up in a world where you have computer access before you can even read. |

Obviously the cause of this can be pointed back to one thing and one thing only; white supremacy

You don't need to be able to read and write, speak the King's English and do basic math to get in a top university. Just be able to play basketball or 'run good ' with a football.

You have to put it in language they can understand.
Like ebonics did for English classes. 9mm + 10 mm x glock 40 S&W ÷ 45 acp = 16 ga. |

They just need some reparations or a DIE job and they’ll be fine upstanding members of society

Doesn’t matter how proficient or not. Businesses will be forced to hire uneducated and unqualified individuals because of “equality”. Then blame everyone and everything else for higher injury rate, lack of production and quality.
