Just the standard ESEE sheath. I have been tinkering with carry methods. That is a Comp-Tac belt clip... Cut down and attached with a Chicago screw.

Besides ebay and blade forums, is there any others sites for buying discontinued knives?

I've been looking at both for a spyderco dodo. 150% retail, I don't even care.

It's all leftover stuff from other knives or projects.

The handles are peel-ply g10 leftover from the orange Kershaw"needs work" that I posted a while back.

The blade is 1095 leftover from a couple of fixed blades from way back.(never finished them, maybe I'll get around to them someday)

The back spacer is from a broken crkt m16

The stop pin is the pivot from a broken Gerber Bear grills knife.

I'm going to try a "backyard" heat treat on the blade, hoping for a "good enough" HT for pocket knife duty.(any tips for this would be awesome)

I'm trying to finish this up soon, because I'd like to take it on my trip to Germany that's coming up.  Their knife laws suck.  As I understand it, You can have a locking knife, or a knife that opens one handed, but not both.https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/78442/KIMG0107-506888.JPG

ETA: I ruined the blade today.  I got too fussy chasing the hollow grind on one side and it got too thin at the tip.  I have the replacement blade started.  I'm not sure if I'll try the hollow grind again.(who am I kidding, I think a hollow ground wharncliff looks too cool to not try it again. Lol)

Kuraki must not have felt like humble bragging so I'll relay the description he sent me. His was more detailed and personal but here's the facts of the blade.

The steel is AEB-L stainless at 61 RC which he says will take a very thin edge without chipping and is easy to sharpen.

The handle is snakewood, It''s a hard and oily wood that's naturally weather resistant. It's pinned with carbon fiber pins and carbon fiber lanyard hole.

The overall shape of the handle is a play on the Loveless knives, and the blade shape is his own cross between a clip point and drop point.

Basically, it's a bitchin knife with a 5 1/4" cutting edge and 11" overall.

I did get this little gem today.  Trying to live with it a little before buying some for my other CRKs.  Really like it so far.

Thanks!  Now I just need to put it to work.   This one will probably be for culinary chores camping and general butcher work during hunting seasons, which seems a shame because of the leather work that comes with it; knowing it wont be worn on a belt.

On another note, everything seems scared of the M4 I got off him previously. Haven't had a legit use for it yet... Though that will change with the weather likely. So far it's toughest task was cutting net wrap off a round bale...
