(#3)Back pack blower seems to get quite a few out of the lawn. You should set up an artisanal jelly stand If we lived closer together, we could share a booth at the farmer's market. I could sell bread and he could sell jelly. That reminds me, I need to check the crabapples and see if they're getting ripe enough to make another batch of apple jelly. I forgot to grab a pic at lunch, but my wife canned 8 (I think) jars of relish using garden cucumbers, garden peppers (supplemented with storebought), and vidalia onions. She's planning to do another batch as we still have scads of cukes on the vines. |

View Quote Stand by for me too at that price point. I have a few that are hard to beat in my book. I found myself comparing something (can’t remember what, obviously not great) to EC the other day and asking why I would pay more for the other one over EC. I wouldn’t. On a completely different note, Carobou Crosding really is like Blantons. My local said they haven’t seen CC in 8 months. So if you see some… |

I HATE working under the sink. Pain in the back. We've been fridge hunting for the better part of a year. Can never find exactly what we want without spending eleventy-billion doll hairs. Washer works fine but sounds like an industrial-strength pressure washer. We only run it when we go to bed or are going to be gone for a while. We had dinner at a work friend of hers house one night. After we finished eating they loaded the washer and we got to talking about how we need to get a new one, how loud it is and whatnot. What we didn't know was that theirs was running this whole time. We were less than 8 feet from it and unless you knew it was running and listened for it, you'd never know it. |

Our clothes washer was free. The owner at my last job had their dryer go out and it was a "matched set" and it was no longer available, so they bought a new washer and dryer set. He brought it into the shop and said whoever takes it home that night could have it. Got it home and searched online for the manual and found out it was like a $2k washer. It ain't all that great given the price tag (for them), great for us. The one thing I don't like about it is the valves open and close super fast and water hammer the shit out of our pipes. I installed hammer arrestors shortly after getting it but I've noticed it's starting to do it again, so I might have to replace them. |
