Was there someone looking for Mini A100s?

Looks like regular A-100s are back in stock right now too.

We will see if sendcutsend gets me the titanium before Bos gets me the blades back or not.

I know the mcmaster order will be here pronto, had to order some more form taps. My initial one has done about 40 holes by now and after 35 or so some of the “teeth” (threads?) broke away. It still works to thread fine and I can’t see any defects on the threads. In any case I’d feel better getting a new one

Progress today on the other 3.

https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/498570/5F66107D-56A7-489A-AFA0-1320C0C106AC_jpe-2663391.JPGhttps://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/498570/684370A5-D7A3-478A-B61E-58A02E556EB8_jpe-2663392.JPG

As you can see the Ti frame lock one has a much simpler screw set than the ones with scales. Playing with some ideas in my head to reduce the number of screws… there are some options. I will have to mess around in solidworks and see if I like the look of them though

All the handles are rough shaped, they still need some final sanding and polishing. I think I will take the CF up to 1000grit or so. The G10 I will leave at 120 and the titanium I will scotch brite

The Ti one flows much better.

Those are cool.

I'd often get in trouble with my wife for buying dyed wood scales because I don't don't use them regularly. I have a limit on how many sets I can keep on hand. I have to use some if I want to buy more. Lol. There's a couple of makers on Instagram that'd always have something cool to tempt me. Lol

I prefer buying the ones that I think look cool, then waiting for a knife to come along and "seem right" for the scales.

On the left are sourdough crackers the wife made. Then little cornichons, and half sour pickles. There's a jar with pickled cocktail onions and deli, Dijon and German mustard.

The cheeses are a stilton, some uppity gouda, triple cream brie and iberico. I'm a big fan of iberico, sheep, cow and goat milk cheese blended really well.

The whiskey salami didn't really have much whiskey flavor, the wild boar salami had a little extra porkiness, and the truffle salami had a little earthiness we didn't find until half way in. The chorizo was smoky and tasty.

Not wanting to rain on your parade, I'm sure the food was great, but that brand of meat is made in Utah... at least with world market you're buying chorizo made in spain - though that says nothing about the quality of the actual product. I just have a hard time accepting quality style european meats coming from Salt Lake City.

Just noticed the meat tube to the right. I'm not certain that I would willingly eat commercial meat product made from javalina. The meat is coming from pig hunts and from experience I wouldn't eat that unless I knew the control of the meat through the supply chain. Maybe I'm overly concerned, maybe not.

I was cleaning out some email and found the new f3ns aquatic notification. Your picture reminds me a lot of the aquatic in a way. I'm still miffed I missed it. Now I have an alert app set to recon 1's shiro page. There's another site, rusblade that appears to be legit with a mad amount of available shiro's at very high prices. Are they actual shiro authorized sellers or will 36 laptops get charged to my credit card after placing an "order"?
