One of the first things I did was teach her to drive stick. She drove stick for probably 5-6 years before we changed cars. Before all that she had to drive all the time because her family was out in the country and work/school were in town. Dad always had extra trucks kicking around so she would take whichever was closest to the road. She learned to drive in a 70s suburban though. Steering was so bad she got pulled over once because the cop thought she was drunk. He was surprised when he got to the window and found a teenage girl dressed in one of those long denim skirts and full coverage shirts like the religious zealots wear (her mom was one). She explained it was the steering and he told her to get it fixed and sent her off. She was even plowing for her dad in the winter. With the YukXL, it barely fits in the garage. We have an hourglass shaped driveway for some reason and even when my truck is all the way over, it's still tight getting the Yuk out, but she does. I have parked the Forester in there a couple times and it is comical how much space there is around it. Wife is a great driver. When I am running blocker on the highway, she keeps up. My wife is the stuff of legends. |

Lol View Quote I know it would drive me nuts too. I have a hard enough time getting the small swedges/chamfers along the spine of my blades dialed in before running out of runway. I think if I tried a grind like that I'd end up with a 1" long blade and a pile of steel dust. |

These have mozzarella mixed into the dough and I did a couple with cheese melted. Awesome right out of the pan. Left some plain. I think they really need something on them. I let most of them cool to see how they hold up to use later. Could use to make a sandwich if you wanted. My recipe said to flatten to 1/2in. I think that is a bit thick for how dense they are. Still need to experiment a bit. I have 5lbs of cornmeal so lots to experiment with...lol And my paper plate is festive... so fuck off! |
