Rek tool just arrived for the Shiro’s.
Took apart the Neon Ultra Light, and found a couple of bearing missing, and three different serial numbers between the blade, the lock side scale, and the COA.  I bought it second hand off reddit, but I bought it because of the COA. If the COA has a different SN than the blade, and a 3rd completely different SN on the scale… How doI know I have an actual Shiro? There is no actual authenticity to the knife? Thoughts? ETA - Seller states he had no idea and I'm inclined to believe him. States he never took the knife apart, and did not know where the serial numbers were located. He has a good "karma" score over on reddit and has sold other good knives in the past. However what he sold was a knife with COA that is worthless, whether or not he knew that at the time and the COA is a big part of the brand. |

He was not happy at the beginning, but then put himself in my shoes and understood that it was not appropriate to leave as is.
