Just thought it was odd that a fictional character is needed for that.

The baseline many Star Wars fanboys have, under the Disney regime, for what qualifies as "quality content" has plummeted so ridiculously low that they are like a battered wife that regularly gets so severely beaten by her POS husband that on days in which she “only” gets a few hard slaps across the face she celebrates the merciful “gift."  All the while dismissing her friends as "haters" for calling the POS out and saying she deserves better.

It's been decades since I've read the books but I thought Joruus C'Baoth was insane because he was a clone that had been grown too quickly - the original Joruus was killed on the flight.

Outbound Flight is one of my top 5 EU novels. That scene where he obliterates the Neimodian fleet with 3 cruisers and 9 fighters is poetry.

I think its funny that all these posters are saying "oh no look at all these girls in the trailer its the end of star wars"...

Bruh most of those characters have already been introduced, have already had amazing stories with loss, growth, development, evolvement, and sacrifice.

Anybody who is turning down live action Hera, Chopper (for more than the 1 second he was in Rogue One), Sabine, more Ahsoka as some capitulation to Kathleen Kennedy's endorsement of shitty Ray-esque mary sue writing is ignorant. Probably the same idiots who did not appreciate the Zeb cameo in Mando two weeks ago.

They're setting up the Ghost crew's reunion... .They're bringing Thrawn back to reconquer the galaxy...

I, for one, also cannot wait to see live action Jabba show up again... and I wish we could get some Zeb - Kallus action as well.

The Luuke concept was interesting in the way Zahn described it, what would it be like having an identical copy of a force-sensitive being facing off against the original force-sensitive being.

I've been a Ray Stevenson fan ever since Rome (highly recommend TV show, BTW).

Its insane to think HBO once had, at the same time, The Sopranos, Deadwood, and Rome. Arguably 3 of the top 10 dramas of all time.

BklynZoo made a post about "I can't believe that I'm reading a bunch of these posts praising or making excuses for this abomination of a season" and I responded to that.

Bigern314 made a post about "they need to take this dog out and shoot it, these shows are just AWFUL" and I responded to that similar post with a similar response.

Bigern314 said he's been a Star Wars fan since 1977.  That's 45 years of investing his time, money, and emotion.  Personally, for me it's not difficult to understand why some Star Wars fans are pissed about the way Disney has not only been using Star Wars, but shitting on the source material on top of it.  YMMV.

I get to sit on my couch with my wife and daughter and we all get to share the experience of watching the show. We enjoy it. It is entertaining and allows us to relax. Some folks want Shakespearian works out of a show met to entertain a family.

I enjoyed it as well, though about half of it was pure cringe.

I've read every EU novel before the Disney buyout. Played the RPG, watched every movie. Heck, I was even a provisional member of the 501st.

Disney has done some bad things. ButJon Favreau and Dave Filoni have done the best they can under the circumstances. Especially Dave Filoni, the heir to George Lucas. A massive Star Wars geek himself. Someone that George Lucas trusts.

Some people are seeing the original trilogy through rose colored glasses.  It was entertaining and used ground breaking special effects for the time, but the story was far from the greatest story ever told.

She-Hulk was so bad, it was good. It was something that was just worthwhile to watch and laugh at since it made me laugh. Some of the cringe was over the top and that in of itself led to the humor.

Star Wars was entertaining, ESB was fantastic and, and ROTJ had high and low points. Replacing Wookoes for Ewoks due to merchandising is horrible.

I've been a SW nut since 1977 and Its sad to see what has happened since Disney bought the IP.

Oh well.

Yeah I just don't care personally. I saw Star Wars in the back of my mother's station wagon with four of my friends on opening night at the drive-in. I've been a big fan since, obviously not as much as some folks here... who arguably take a children's story to an unhealthy obsession. YMMV
