I've flown RC models of similar shapes, and the lack of vertical surfaces (without stability augmentation) causes a very slight yawing motion at higher speeds, with the yawing increasing as speed is reduced, until the plane does something resembling an intentional stall-spin at low speed. The slight yawing motion in normal flight was apparently one of the arguments given for cancelling the B-49, as it would supposedly interfere with targeting with the bombs that were used at the time. |
