Cool project OP. Your students have done a great job on the shirt designs too.

Wyoming art class shirts are grey.
All of them. (ETA: except for HMX1 Crap. I forgot about that one.) That is all. |

Can you do a panorama pic of the alcove? Should be an option for photo type on your Phone where you pick photo/panorama/video/etc and it makes a really wide image after you turn in a circle with it.

One that shows all the sub-project display constructs built in the 4 quadrants, airplane, tower, fire, slurry for the aspects of the project instead of just random stuff tossed in? The lower one is good, the 307 tail number could be a bit bigger and the nose art could be 2-3x bigger without looking out of place (I think it needs to be higher up on the side of plane and a bit forward as well - looks like 'landing gear art' in current location with silhouette). Some nose art went the whole height of fuselage in WW Ⅱ so if going by that 'rule' you get a lot of canvas to slap on the side of the 130. |

I like the lower right option for the front. Make the text a little bigger.
Back would look good with suggested nose art and number changes. I like the new font better. Thanks for making that change. |

I was just wondering yesterday if these projects were still being made. I’m glad they are. Keep up the good work!

Thanks fellas.
We had kind of a down day today. Finals are next week, and students needed directions for their digital portfolios. We did get a few more areas skinned, but found we needed a little clean up on the edges of the fuselage next to the wall. We will have some decent updates tomorrow. |

Looking great Guns.

Congrats on the boy! I was finally convinced two years out that mine will graduate high school w/ a real diploma. It was touch & go there for awhile.

12/20 update!
Wyoming weather may cut this short week, even shorter. We are expecting -50 windchill tomorrow. They've decided to have all finals today, and start classes at a 2hr delay tomorrow. Since finals are today, we would have all day tomorrow to work on the project. I got most of the students' porfolios emailed to me yesterday, so most will be able to work on their projects today. |

I just drove my wife to work......a whole 1 block away from our house. It is crazy dangerous right now. Zero visibility. I had a tough time seeing the parked cars in her parking lot....all three of them. Oncoming traffic is impossible to see till its right in front of you. Turning left.....damn.

Usually swing is ~1.5° to keep it near set temp so it doesn't cycle too fast/slow. Setting at 22°C and it would drift from 70°F to 74°F, which is a bigger swing than most people prefer. So, need to add the 22.4°C to say same thing, needing more digits and not relatable at all. |

If I was somewhere where it was minus 40 or minus 48, I wouldn't be concerned about which temp scale was being used. I would be more interested in finding a way to go somewhere warmer. |

Agreed on that. As soon as it hits -10 or so it starts to sting when you breathe so seeking shelter is very wise. After 5-15 minutes people not fully bundled in insulation start going into hypothermia feeling and thinking it's not so bad or even warm, then you really need to get in some place warm. |

It's when you make damn sure you didn't forget any cans or bottles of beverage in your vehicle. They turn into grenades, then you're in sticky goo until spring. Cleaners just don't seem to work good until the surfaces are over 50°F or so. The other thing that sucks is with no heated garage, by February the floor mats are encased in 1" of ice from slight melting of heater, then freezing over and over without getting fully thawed unless going on a trip long enough to thaw and evaporate it. |

Aaaaand we're back!
Thanks for the status update. I have one comment on the t-shirt. If that C-130 is doing a slurry drop, the left wing should be obscured by the slurry. From the perspective presented, you'd be looking through the plume. |
