Back in the middle 80's living in the DFW area there were people who purchased or rented a house and subleted the bedrooms to friends or co workers to save money vs renting an apartment.
At the rate apartment rents are increasing I bet you might see this happening again since trying to find a 1br apartment for a single person is almost impossible. |
