Just sort of taking it as it comes. I've been with my current GF for 5 years, which is the longest of any since my divorce. And I know it frustrates her that I won't think long term. But it's part of the package, which she knew going in. Maybe I'll change my mind, but for the nonce future planning is limited to reservations to the next kink camp. I don't know if that relationship framework might help navigate what you have now. But for what it's worth i know sort of where you are coming from. As for when I die? Yeah. The only substantive link between my family life and my private life is a number in my daughter's phone labeled "In case Dad dies." The person on the other end of that number deletes some hard drives, wipes out a Google account, kills some other online accounts, and removes certain items from the house. And some women that no one knows show up at the wake. It's just better that way. |

I think you've got some courage to post this in ARFCOM GD lol. But I also think you will be more warmly welcomed (and probably hazed too lol) than you anticipated. The younguns will be like "ew gross", anyone older than 50 is thinking about it a little bit and going "damn, that could be me if the cards land a certain way".
