I don't post often but... everyone be safe this weekend.
Israel is hours away from stepping into Gaza and it's more than clear that people are willing to join in the violence across the globe. Not trying to stoke fear or paranoia but just be aware of your surroundings. I feel like a broken record but as soon as the offensive kicks off tonight things are going to happen fast. I believe we will see war in the Middle East with more state actors getting involved very quickly after the offensive starts. Images are going to come out of Gaza showing destroyed buildings, dead civilians etc. it's going to be used as justification for strikes against Israel. The danger for this to spread into a huge conflict is real and the movement of many of our military assets to the region is indictive of that. I hope I am wrong but it is hard to imagine any other path this takes. |
