Quoted: This is funny ( the chart) Because this was Canada this week at Costco. Remember cost is CAD. 1 CAD = .$73 USD. That $1.50 is really $1.095 USD https://i.ibb.co/gvDhXRv/received-694331402627209.jpg Because costco makes a large sum of money selling memberships. Now just look at McDonalds pricing. How does Costco pull this off and McDonalds is only a few cents off per USD? View Quote |

In college I got two shoppers for $2
Wife and I went to Burger King the other day. They wanted $17 for a double whopper, whopper jr., and small fries. I told them they were outta their mind and they could keep it. |

If I want a burger and fries, I make my own. My neighbor hates ground venison, so I get that for helping him vacuum seal the rest.

Quoted: Kommiefornia Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1228, which sets a $20 minimum wage for fast-food workers starting on April 1, 2024. The fast-food employee minimum wage will increase annually until 2029, based on the Consumer Price Index. View Quote $20 Newsom dollars are worth $9 Trump dollars. Prices did not go up, the dollar went down. Minimum wage is still minimum wage. $3 Trump dollars bought three chicken thighs at Churches, they were big and well prepared. $3 Biden dollars bought one thigh and one drumstick, both were unusually small and way over cooked. This was 11/04/23, yesterday. It's not Biden, it is the Democrat party and those who guide it. Inflation is a big money maker for government. The value of Social Security and Social Benefits paid by government is reduced by inflation, this is profit for government because it can spend that value on things that return larger unearned and undeserved profits to those in government and to those who steer government (not elected and appointed officials). Poor and old are less profitable than other things, like proxy wars for instance. Business who pay pensions and benefits to retirees also profit from inflation decreasing the value of those liabilities. A second and huge profit to government happens when old and disabled are pushed economically down into poverty. The poverty industry returns big profits to those in government. A third big profit item is causing earlier death for the old and disabled, by making their lives a nightmare. Profitable to the political industry because after death they will all vote Progressive, ballots will be printed for them, marked for Left candidates and voted for them. It's the Liberal way. Political profit: includes power, control, money and probably other things. Book deal is bribe. Speaking fee is bribe. Jobs for family members is bribe. Sweetheart deals of all kinds are bribe. |

Quoted: There will always be Joe Bidens. It's the electorate causing this. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Root cause: FJB Again, do I need to yell louder for the folks harder hearing in the back? Why is a Big Mac in Argentina more expensive than in the US? They have a significantly lower minimum wage than in the US and their border country Brazil is a 1/3rd cheaper for the same Big Mac. When McDonalds Argentina puts out their menu prices, do they consult with Biden first? Or is Biden some all powerful entity that makes the entire worldwide McDonalds Big Mac prices exorbitantly high? A Big Mac in Japan is cheap. They have socialists culture with free government benefits but with a low minimum wage. And they're half the price of the same Big Mac in Idaho with a similar minimum wage. Almost like the prices have nothing to do with minimum wage and simply some algorithm that McDonalds corporate has figured out regarding supply and demand. Swear to god everyone must have me on ignore here because no one wants to debate. And just me typing that last sentence above opens me up for personal insults. Just debate what what I'm saying, I'm not being personal. I presenting facts, not "feels." |

Crazy that McDonalds cost what it does View Quote I don’t know how In N Out does it, the food is excellent and way cheaper than McDonald’s. I remember Arby's having the 5 regular Roast Beef sandwiches for $5......

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant. |

I haven't had Mc Donald's for a while now...neither has my wife after they treated our boy(16y/o) over the summer. They trained him and after training was done he wanted to go to church camp with all the other youth down in Arkansas for like 4 days.
They gave it to him off. But screwed him over the rest of the summer working him one day a week..on a Sunday(Every Sunday) IMMEDIATELY following church until closing. He quit, went to work for Culver's and gets 20-25hrs a week and receives TIPS from customers when being a runner for the drive thru(running food out to waiting cars). Screw MCDONALD'S |

Quoted: It was a not-so-happy meal. An enraged McDonald’s customer says the fast food franchise is no longer affordable for ordinary Americans, calling the company’s contemporary prices “crazy.” “So, I get there’s a labor shortage, I get there’s wage increases and a number of other things,” Idaho man Christopher Olive began in a viral TikTok clip, which has recently resurfaced. “But $16? $16 for a burger, a large fry and a drink? It’s just crazy!” the flabbergasted content creator complained, panning to his itemized receipt from a McDonald’s restaurant in the city of Post Falls. View Quote They still paid for it. This is why McDonald’s stays in business regardless of how much people say they don’t like it. Last time I walked into a McDonald’s was over 10 years ago. I was to guy staring at the menu like I’d never been there, or it was a fancy establishment with diverse choices. |

Around me, for about $10 more per meal for the wife and I we can sit down in a local restaurant that makes great food compared to fast-food or a sub shop.
We just go there once every 2 weeks. We get pizza Maybe once a month and that's it. Wife cooks all the other days. |
