So by this logic, if someone flew in some Big Macs for the Azov guys, Russia would put a hit out on Ronald McDonald.

At a certain point, you just shrug it off and laugh at them.  And I think we and most of the thinking world are well past that point.

It would need to have non-whites, non-binary, alphabet people as the Ukrainians for Netflix to do it.

As someone with a prosthetic, I agree. It was weeks before I even got fitted for a 'test' socket, and a further 3-4 months before I was walking. And that was with a BK prosthetic.

There's a chance, though small, that we could be seeing someone's attempt at wrecking socialist production, or whatever they called it. So let's not dismiss it entirely out of hand.

Maybe the Swiss can use some of their blood money to help the Ukrainians implement a national shelter and defensive infrastructure policy.

Well whats cool is that in theory the 3D printing will simplify logistics; just deploy some cement trucks and the printer, rather than having to supply numerous cast concrete components.

Better than before? Yeah, the FSB was pulled off the command and the military is in charge. But it’s too late. They are 1:1 just for troops, which would normally indicate a very lopsided loss rate.

The Russians are scoring hits.  I'm wary of any video they put out that doesn't show any destruction, though.  They do very much like to show outgoing fire, but don't show the results as much.  This is likely directly owed to their lack of drones, which are supplying the bulk of downrange UA hits, outside of the launcher video screens themselves.

We have a rah rah Ukraine vibe in here, no doubt.

But we have been skeptical of major victories and hits until verified.  We have also posted daily war maps, third party analysis, and news from around the globe.

We all want Ukraine to prevail.  But I don’t think we have illusions of how serious this is, nor how dire the war is. We have seen a month of back and forth gains and losses.  Tactically, it’s a stalemate, with gains often going to Russia.  Strategically, the tide can shift in Ukrainian favor with an influx of artillery and drones. (Every Russian loss is harder to replace, but Ukraine is getting supplies of superior weapons.)  the wildcard is WMD use.  Say Kyiv And Lviv are nuked,  it will probably collapse Ukraine and it’s ability to make war.

Hard to overlook that the two "leading countries" of Europe are willing to screw the Ukraine to appease Russia.

Doesn't bode well for NATO. I'm not sure that Russia couldn't steamroll  Europe. It would soon be Poland standing alone. And the Ukraine. France wants to stay out of it and Germany's got nothing. GB's not going to jump in to save the continent. If Russia ignores Finland, not much else in their way.

Except the US, of course. I wonder what we'd do if France and Germany opted out.

It sounds like putin is ashamed of his performance in ukraine and is afraid to fly his planes where everybody could see them get blown out of the sky by sof units who came across the border with shoulder fired missiles. And afraid to tell his country that the little "special operation" to remove nazi drug addict leadership is going so very badly that he has do declare war and draft everybody, or launch nukes to protect russia. It sounds like an absolute disaster. That's my guess, but that's why I asked what other people think, because pretty much anybody would know more than I do.

Ukraine may collapse, but if Putin nukes Kyiv and Lviv the US and UK will put an end to Russia's ability to make war and Poland would add their might.  After seeing Macron's comments and Germany's hesitancy in this whole scenario I'm not 100% certain NATO would do anything significant.  But the US and UK would act, and it wouldn't be subtle.

Win anyway, and once it’s over set up a new and improved version of NATO with the countries who rolled with us….and leave old NATO to France, Germany, and apparently Hungary so they can do whatever with their Fren Putin.

The company plans to send to Ukraine not only concrete barriers, but also 3D printers themselves, which will allow the military to build barriers closer to the battlefield. The technologies of this Czech company will be used in battle for the first time.

Printing one one-meter-high fence takes approximately 20 minutes. After printing, the concrete should dry, transportation is possible in a day. The printer prints barricades in a rounded shape, which better protects against bullets. The barriers have been tested at the ballistic centre and meet a number of NATO standards.

Or we could pour concrete into a mold.

Let's 3D print a stone axe next!
I could see it being an advantage in some intricate one off shape, for a standard barrier seems kind of unnecessary.

Exactly. A Leopard 2 and Abrams is better, but the T-72 you already have is better than nothing.

Zelensky already said they won’t accept them owning Crimea.

And with all that western hardware, aid, and backing pouring in the UA army has a lot of high morale to feed off of. In the past when they could t take the seized lands or were unsure what would happen they say still. I could see them start to roll the Russians in the coming months that and almost have to be co rained/stopped from going after them into Russia itself.
