When the footage of the violent rioters attacking the Capital on January 6th on behalf of Donald Trump is run all over the place on TV commercials, it will be a significant impact for those undecided / swing / independent voters in the key battleground states. You can stick your head in the sand and pretend "It's no big deal" but to literally millions of American voters in BOTH parties, it marked a low point in our system and while the MAGA faithful were already voting for Trump no matter whatever he says or does, those swing state voters still have 60 days to move either way before November 5th. The Democrats will 100% use January 6th as a issue to beat on Donald Trump in the 2024 election and it won't be a favorable outcome to Trump to those voters "in the middle" when they are visually reminded of the reality of what happened that day.
