Yeah I will have to consider that. I had one in .45 and loved the trigger.

I am so gaming it right now.   I took the mystery ranch  padded war belt I have that has the stiffening molle support accessory piece that attaches to the lower back of your vest, or in this case my FCPC5.0 carrier and transfers the majority of the weight of your carrier - certainly the rear plate - from your shoulders to your hips.   Neat.  It's like I'm not even wearing it.

I can make a SA/DA trigger so much better.   But a 10mm p220 in SAO is the tits.

There are tools and jigs made for making 1911 frames without a mill.  I think some of them are specific to the point of having different ones for single stack or double stack frames.

Ah, gotcha.

I've got a mill already, and between that and the 3d printer I don't need to worry much about fixtures.

This kind of goes along with the old post from yesterday about the very sophisticated tunnels on the southern border.  I still believe that would be a reasonable possibility for insurgents, cartels, and other foreign actors for ingress/egress.   This is more of a concern now with our volatile election fraud, uncertain political and social unrest, currently.

I got started messing with the Polymer80 handguns, because my shop is still a 'work in progress' since the move to the new house, and I could do the Polymer80 builds with the small vice on my toolbox at work, during lunch.

It's a question of spending the money to buy the specialized tools and jigs, or spending the time and money to finish my shop, reassemble my mill, and fix the mill's motor (which fried itself shortly before the move).  This year, the time and money have been tied up with other priorities.

Knowing their proclivities I'm going to be more worried next Saturday about the vicious, devious stuff they do. Like throwing unknown liquids at people and following people to their cars to attack them in isolation. There were a few guys open carrying rifles who would escort people to their cars, so it's not like we've been oblivious to the danger, but mostly it's been normal people with flags and kids and dogs, and I count myself among those normal people. Patriots wander in from all directions in ones and twos. Now it seems we're going to have to get more organized.

I'm not pretending that I have a plan. I have no idea what's going to happen next Saturday. I don't relish an escalation because a patriot's life can be destroyed in an instant, but it could be that our choices are down to either escalation or surrender.

@RockNwood,

A few people have been open carrying pistols and rifles, though most of the people have not been displaying anything. It's not like the rallies you might have seen a few years ago where there was a defined area and the police were checking people for weapons or weaponized flagpoles and signs, searching backpacks, etc. It's just people gathering, with all the freedom to carry guns and move around that we'd have anywhere in the state.

In the capitol campus map below the red ovals show the typical massing points for the filthy commies and the blue ovals are patriots. For the commies the intersection of Capitol Way and 11th in the NE is the main location, with the intersection blocked off by the police and several officers trying to keep them contained, and a group of the more aggressive patriots confronting them from across the street.

Two weeks ago the commies were gathering at the second red oval a little south of that, along Capitol Way. The blue oval south of that on Capitol Way is where a lot of the patriots have been gathering to show the flag since Capitol Way is the only part of the campus that's visible from the street. So that's the public face of the rally.

On the west side the big blue oval is where we meet for speeches, prayers, chanting, etc. Then there's a cluster of patriots between there and Capitol Way.

There's no march. It's really just a question of whether you'd rather be listening to speakers, showing the flag to passersby, or confronting the filthy commies. As you are a member of Riot Squad I assume your tastes run to confronting filthy commies but there's no wrong answer. If you're going to be there with a child, a frail person, or a dog you could probably hang out in front of the Legislative Building to the West and not even see the bad guys. Though I guess they could try something really crazy there. Really after what happened today the family-friendly atmosphere may be a thing of the past.

I don't know the coordinating organizations but I'll be looking into it this week. I agree about having more bodies. That's why I'll be there, wherever the patriots are confronting the commies. Hopefully we can show them that they're better off creeping back to their lairs rather than trying something. And more generally we can show that the election is far from over and whatever happens we're not going anywhere.

I know it's a long drive but I'd love to see you there. I can rig a variety of flagpoles with a variety of flags if you'd like to use one, and in any case you should be carrying something like that unless you're going to be carrying a rifle.

The rally starts at noon and breaks up about around 3:00 to 3:30. Next Saturday should be cold and rainy which is an advantage for our side since we're better at things like planning ahead and going outside.

Noticed the pdf also shows video surveillance as well for these and the paper forms for custody.

Don't get me wrong unattended drop boxes are ripe for fraud but the chain of custody would eliminate the removal of actual ballots and replacing them with altered ones. At least in theory I doubt it would be all that hard to break into a box with enough planning

As far as hydration, you can get a quick disconnect adapter on your drinky drinky bladder that's type-m compatible, which your Mira is.

Yeah, but you don't need to break into or swap drop boxes if you can just drop as many fraudulent ballots as you want into the o-fish-ul drop box, rendering them legit at that point.

Great info, thx!  I have a meeting here until 10ish so it won’t be until about 1-1:30 that I can get there. I’ll just wear an OWB pistol and mags, maybe pepper spray and bring a Trump 2020 flag. I don’t have battle rattle so I’ll find where the poors hide out.

I’ll PM you and let you know what I will be wearing. Jeans and a dark green rain jacket most likely or with rain pants if pouring. It will be great to meet up with you guys. I might know the parents of some of the commies. 😂. My first State job was at Unemployment there on Capitol and 14th in 1982. Played football at Oly High in early 70s just down Capitol aways.

Taken from another thread for obvious reasons, lol.

Love FALs.  My plan when deployed to Ecuador, Venezuela, or Colombia in the '90s was to use my M9 to get one from the conscripts if shit ever went sideways.  My GAU-5 would stay locked up.

I took a day to unwind, which helped greatly.  It's hard to sustain such high levels of stress.  Though I ironically spent a goodly amount of time catching up in the election thread instead, which actually brought a few new things to my attention and helped me feel more at ease with what's likely coming.  That is, once I ignored several of the resident trolls in that thread.  @MrTsHaircut, I completely understand your frustrations in there, lol.  And also thank you again @Doodles for granting me the power of the almighty ignore feature.

I'm extremely curious about the elevated amount of military air traffic.  A lot of people are trying to brush it off as multiple training exercises, but I feel the timing is much too coincident with everything else going on.  Getting a strong vibe that there's an immense amount of things happening behind the scenes that we'll probably never know the full extent of.

As far as hydration, you can get a quick disconnect adapter on your drinky drinky bladder that's type-m compatible, which your Mira is.

Of course, these XDM's would all need to be broke in and I could at least do that for the kids in case I don't live that long.

I have 4 Springfields. 1911 loaded, XD .45 XDM .40 and XDM 9.  They are fantastic guns.  My carry is the XDM.40
They stopped making the XDM in .40 too bad.  They are retooling to 10mm I think they will likely get out if .40 all together.

It’s a weird group there.  The defeatists are trying to tell us that the election is legit and to accept the outcome.  The problem with that thinking is ... 70-80 million Americans won’t accept the outcome.  It’s a shitshow coming.

Page 6 mentions a chain of custod form, but dont know the individual rules per county or state, just an example.

Noticed the pdf also shows video surveillance as well for these and the paper forms for custody.

I agree with you, because as you mentioned these are just guidlines and recommendations, and you can see where the whole setup is ripe for all kinds of fraud.  That's why I'd like to see forensic checking of the ballots, signature match, watermark on ballot, time of tabulation etc. or if it's possible to even tell if the ballot came from a drop box, throw them out.

So I was an Air Traffic Controller (Rapcon/Radar) before I was washed out with all my certs. (meaning I was operational and did active controlling, just couldnt wrap my head around one airspace we controlled, so I was washed out after about 2 years)

Then I was a C-130 loadmaster. So this is coming from both sides of experience in the AF.

Don't look into the higher sortie numbers at the end of the year. All air crew is required to do a certain number of things in a year. For me, every six months I had to do 1 personnel airdrop, 2 CDS bundles, and 2 Heavy equipment airdrops. Among some other things. Pilots have more, like IFR/VFR shit. Visual and instrumental landings. Etc. With Covid happening, it put a huge hit on sorties. So while people get quarantined, and all the bullshit, I bet a ton of people are behind on their sortie requirements. The reason they could be so behind is all the ops take a ton of man power. The maintainers, JAI(airdrop inspection), the riggers, ATOC, Air Traffic, just to name a few.

If you know where it is all coming from @ me or PM and I can find shit out. Still talk to my buddies every week. Mississippi, south Texas, and Oklahoma are the 3 AF training bases for UPT.
