One of my old friends texted me the other day that the Afghan war was so disjointed and poorly run, it was really more like 5 wars over 20 years run back to back in the same spot. That makes perfect sense to me. ETA: we could have circumvented the globe and kicked everyone's ass that needed it, run down all the terrorist shit heads, killed a mountain of communists, and it would have taken half the time and still been cheaper for the tax payer. |
