I have such a freedom-boner. The Q and A is incredible. The flight rates he is talking is beyond belief! He is talking exceeding the system tonnage of the Space Shuttle Program over thirty years in days. He is talking one and a half million TONS to orbit in a year. A thousand times more with ten starships than the total lift capacity of all boosters in current operation on the Earth combined.

I said this earlier in the thread, but cheap lift is going to obsolete a huge chunk of today's military equipment and tactics.

A dozen of these could hurl 1,800 tonnes of tungsten rods at targets every launch salvo. A one-tonne tungsten rod would hit with 10x the KE of a 16 inch battleship gun....and this could do 150 at a time.

you could have a fleet of hundreds of KH satellites and others able to track every piece of military equipment in real time.
