I wanted a large 40 oz tumbler for work. I’ve used old school Stanley thermos for treats, so when I saw a large Stanley tumbler with integral handle I thought one.
I knew nothing about the current fad. I found out the first day I had it at work  I’ve seen all the crazy junk they make to hang off these tumblers. Maybe I should get a mag holder accessory so I can walk around with a reload. |

My wife, daughter, sister-in-law, mother-in-law all wanted one for Christmas, so that's what they got- didn't think anything of it.
I didn't know it was a fad until like a week or two ago. I work from home, so I'm not exactly up all on the fads. Apparently if you walk into a college lecture hall, nursing station at a hospital, Teacher break room, they're all filled with Stanley 40 oz cups. There are worse things to worry about.....at least the women in my life are staying hydrated. I like the previous posters idea about filling a 40oz tumbler with three beers.

To be fair, the lid screws in, it has a straw gasket and some other design stuff I like.
It won't spill or leak much at all if it tips over, which I think is nice. That being said, I'll get one someday; I have enough Tervis and WalMart brand cups with lids. |
