In over a year I only had one in my Company that went, he broke his ankle in the Mountain phase. We always had slots but few people wanted to go. I used to think whatever branches made division commander, corps commander represented who was support and who wasn’t but then an officer I served with in Japan who was aviation made division command. The whole feminist bitching about blocking female infantry meant denying promotions argument went out the window barely a few years after opening infantry to women
