My financial advisers are of the opinion my buy target isn't going to hit before the SC rally, so I have a couple of buys in just below where we're sitting now. Looks like almost everything is following the fall on the broader market, so with a little luck I'll pick up a couple of thousand on the morning dip.

There's some really interesting stuff floating around this morning. Magic Leap's patent for "warping" an LBS display using eye tracking jumped right out. If memory serves they went to the wall with LCoS, and this is a significant admission... Not saying the lower power, lower resolution, higher energy consumption displays won't find a market in the cheaper VR displays, but we're reaching the capitulation point for a lot of these companies in their quest for a Hololens-equivalent product.

B. Kress moving to Google is going to pour gas on that fire, IMO. Google's still smarting from their Google Glass flop, and Kress has the entire corporate knowledge file on why Microsoft went with LBS. The next move in that arena is going to be very interesting.

And of course, a new job filing, Area Sales Manager for South Europe. Nothing earthshaking there, with the exception of references to existing customers and partners. Hmmm....  Hey, my buy hit, I'm back!

Existing customers and partners. I'm reading that as they don't have any yet, but this person would be responsible for any customers they pickup. Am I wrong?

I glanced at my portfolio today.... one and done. Will look again tomorrow. The Beatles song "Get Back to Where You Once Belonged" immediately popped into my head upon seeing the bloody red shitstorm. The song is referencing the recent portfolio low before last week's tiny bump which has totally evaporated and then some.

My portfolio's balance makes me a sad panda.

Bought 100 more MVIS at 5.95.  I don't think I'm throwing it down the toilet, but I think it'll be a while before it pays off.

Got .32 for $4 January calls on 1/5 of my BBIG at 9:34.
Got .29 for this week's $3 puts on some more BBIG at 11:20 (when it was trading at 2.85).
Both orders put in before 9:30. Not the best prices of the day, but better than Friday's closing prices.

Could buy back all the options right now for a profit.

2100 right at the moment.

I'm not sure what my average really is.  I've had them all go away and come back. Played the options.  App says my average is $3.00

I'm still up though because of options.

GGPI.

I don't know if it's good to get into now though.  I've been in on it for months.  And I started with selling a deep in the money call.

$30 is chump change at this point. I'm hoping for triple that with all the fluff lately. But I've OD'd on the hopium and will gladly take $30.

Still trying to figure that out as well, Discord homies think that position is actually a "LiDar Babysitter." Meaning, someone to watch the product and make sure nothing goes wrong. Still not sure if this is a paid internship.
