If they remain silent, I put our odds of staying above $1.00 for four more days at less than 20%. |

Question on compliance.... say MVIS makes the ten day run at >= $1 but then on the next day they close below $1, does it auto trigger the whole deal again instantly or do they have a grace period to get back to a dollar?

View Quote Easier to copy-paste than explain: "If a company trades for 30 consecutive business days below the $1.00 minimum closing bid price requirement, Nasdaq will send a deficiency notice to the company, advising that it has been afforded a "compliance period" of 180 calendar days to regain compliance with the applicable requirements." So every time you bob to the surface (over $1) after compliance the 30 day clock resets. At 30 consecutive days below $1, you get the deficiency notice that starts the 180 day probation period (must maintain 10 consecutive days over $1) running. You can also file for an extension on the 180 day probation if you can show the NASDAQ you have pending business that you believe will put you back in compliance. MVIS is in one of those extensions right now. If we regain compliance, they should be able to sell the company before this even becomes an issue again. Kind of like the blue lines in hockey...everyone knows they're there, but no one knows why. |

Thanks.... i did a quick Google search but didn't come up with anything

I can't trade my retirement acct. It took a pretty big chunk yesterday. Just when it was getting back close to pre-covid numbers. Bought a few stocks yesterday just to have them drop further. Bought some turds pre-market to see if I can make a quick buck. Also, what happens if you make a couple of day trades on an account that's doesn't meet compliance? |

MVIS looking good in premarket. 1.12 per share. Of course as a cautious wild eyed optimist I did set a sell for all of mine at 1.50 GTC subject to revision depending on how antsy I get...

All my stuff is up varying amounts in the pre-market. Figured there would be a bounce this morning.

i dont post in the other GD stock thread going on now, so it is easier to track where i post questions.
but i have read in multiple posts, people have been buying HTZ. didnt they declare for bankruptcy recently? are people really buying and holding HTZ? hopefully it is mostly momentum trades, but doesnt that have the potential to wipe out a lot of small investors? |

View Quote Playing with fire. I'd guess they're playing the swing and getting out The stock holders are the first to go in bankruptcy unless there's enough cash to pay creditors Bonds usually get pennies in the dollar. Hertz bonds are trading below par and Hertz has 19 billion in debt It's when , not if the go under |

View Quote I bought some when it was at 80 cents just because I thought it would go up a little bit. Sold half at around $3.35 just a few days later and re-bought more shares back when it dropped to $2.70ish. Sold half again when it got back up to $3.50 and then half of the remaining half after it went over $4. I finally bailed and sold the remainder when it was something like $6.10 because I felt like I'd pushed my luck far enough. I never expected to make a lot of money off of it but felt like I might make a little something, and the initial money I invested was an amount that I could afford to lose if it all went south. |

I had a big chunk queued up with my finger on the buy trigger. Glad I can hold it for next week...but with my luck MVIS will run away and never look back
That looked like a lot of people laying in positions against a surprise Monday announcement. Still think the worse of the short attack will come in the next three days, but that was an impressive push upward to seal the close. DOW held it's bounce, too, thank God. Looks like C-19 positives are going to spike a little with everything opening back up. They're going to have to work hard to keep the MSM and Dems from doing everything they can to spook the herd. |

I got tired of holding the bags for MVIS and sold all 149k shares. There is not going to be a buyout, just one big pump and dump.
I'm kidding, I will not ever let go of my MVIS until they pry it from my hands to replace it with cash and/or stock in another company or three. Still, I would very much like to see it done sooner than later. Watching this stock every 30 seconds has become my life. I sit around on the weekends going "what now?". |
