I have a rolling, stackable set of Ridgid tool boxes for my Knights and Custodes.  I glue down magnets  to the bottom of the trays and glue steel washers under the bases.  Big stuff gets bubble wrapped and put in big plastic bags.

Best,

Just picked up a Cadia Stands Army Set for about $135. The price was too good. Guess I'll be building an Imperial Guard kill team.

So with the Lion's Sweep profile of his sword chosen, he's making 20 S6 attacks hitting on a 2+ for 2 damage each.  That's not anything to sneeze at.

9 T6 wounds with a 4+ invuln that produces Mortals on a natural 6 against the attacking model.

That's a good invuln and Toughness.

If like to see how he does against Angron and Mortarion. I suspect Angron gets deleted, if he goes second. Mortarion is pretty OP, though.

Apparently some interesting news about Tau Commander Farsight... his love of red and his choice of 8 minions is apparently not a coincidence...

That game looks amazing from the trailers.

I've been holding off buying a PS5, but I may have to pick one up when it comes out.

What are the best books to read about Perturabo?

I'm getting interested in the Iron Warriors ever since the latest Warhammer 40K animated short they did.

Storm of Iron is an Iron Warriors classic but not about Perturabo directly.

Yes. Part of the reason I bought a PS5, the other part being I convinced my wife to support it when Hogwarts came out.

It is just a mock-up so far, it has two pins on the back.   I am going to have to fab something up to hold them on (one for each side).    Also I'm not sure they will hold up to a lot of heat, but I figured I would give it a shot.   I got them off EBay.

I'm working my way through the Horus Heresy after having take a detour to read Helsreach.

Just started the audible for Battle for the Abyss (book 8 in the series).  It's pretty good so far.  I wasn't a huge fan of Legion though, it was WAY too slow and literally I found 2/3rds of it just a slog to get through. The first six books were pretty good, with the first three being excellent.

I doubt I'll be able to get the whole series done this year or even in the next two years.  If I'm lucky I'll have them all read by the time Henry Cavill's series finally is released. I can't believe there are guys out there that have read all the books, hats off to you gentlemen.

Anyone playing Kill Team?  I've got some credit at a game store and I'm wondering what to burn it on.

I thought about some 40k stuff, but I already have so much that my painting backlog is likely measured in decades.  Plus, with 10th coming out, I'm kind of holding off a bit.

But I've really been enjoying squad-sized games over the past few months.  I played the first edition of Kill Team and thought it was awful.  It looks like they may have changed a lot of the problems I had with it, though.

I'm at book 16 of the Heresy books and some of the books will be pretty boring. There's some good ones, though.

Yeah, man I loved Fulgrim.  What a tragic downfall and the ending was perfect.

The first three books were just excellent.  The Betrayal, oh man.

Descent of Angels was kind of mid (very predictable, but I liked the overall concepts of the knightly orders).

I've been cheating by listening to some Lore on YouTube and man there are some great scenes with some of the Primarchs.  I had Angron as some kind of just mindless brute, but it does seem they've layered his character a bit and so I'm interested to see more of him.  I'm also interested in learning more about Dorn and Perturabo.

I haven't played any Kill Team but I've heard that this version is a much better game than the previous editions.

Fulgrim's ending was nuts. I loved that book.

Boarding Actions looks REALLY good. Kill Team's separate rule set and mechanics turned me off. Boarding Actions is basically the same thing but the rules and mechanics translate to 40k.

I would do that.

Somebody here should 3D print some.

I think there's purity seals on Etsy.

Eta: Found some.

I felt badly for the World Eaters who were destroyed on Istvan III.  They were good hearted brawlers and the kind of guys I would have been friends with back in the day.

Plastic Knight Cerastus Lancer.  All four variants will probably be released, since it's a modular design.
