Having a go at this, played the first dawn of war back in 2005 and that's as far as I ever got into 40k, fast forward to a couple weeks ago and the Boltgun game came across my YT feed and down the rabbit hole I went.

I happen to have some brass rod the right size, and the pivot point has no detail, so I don't need to worry about detailing the ends of the pins.     Pinning them makes them posable as far as elevating and depressing the weapons. I would like to make the shoulder joint rotate, if possible.

4yo was watching me work on the Titan last night. He told me he wants to play as the enemy. Showed him the Liber Hereticus, and he chose Word Bearers, because he wants to fight my Ultramarines. So now I

Everybody see that GW put all of the HH dreadnoughts, tanks and other vehicles in Legends? Only Knights and Custodes seem to have avoided the legends transition.

The top of the head is designed to fit without glue, and I pinned the head with 6mm brass rod, same as the weapon mounts, instead of gluing it. Otherwise the armor panels will make it hard to see.

I read the Rogal Dorn Primarch Novel and I have to say, a tiny bit disappointing. Was really hoping that it would give some insight into his childhood and relationship with the Emperor. Not bad though.
I'm back to the Horus Hersey though reading through Mechanicum right now. The Cult of Mars is a nightmare horror movie level organization that the Emperor was clearly using until he could figure out how to eliminate that bunch of nut jobs. |

Came down to Praesagius or Oberon, and I like the True Messangers colors better. Speaking of Titans, ran out of black primer, and need more metallic paint, so I ordered a few cans of black primer, and a bunch of different Vallejo Metal Color paints. Until they get here, I'll be filling the few gaps, and making sure everything is good for the primer coat. And I'll be planning the color scheme using the Adeptus Titancus Warlord model. I have already decided to do checkerboard instead of stripes, but that's the only definite decision so far. |
