EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 24/7 for me too. I even get physical pain in my ears and major headaches all the time from it.

Just got 3 pin/welds back from Adco. Two with spacers and they look good. Color matches really well.
Thanks Steve @Adco

Awesome. As a fan of doing this, I must say it's gotten down to an art and this is certainly the way to go.

I wouldn’t use a crush washer but I don’t know how I would feel about using my suppresor on that A2 with a spacer behind it. Might be a non-issue. Anyone have experience with that?

I use shims on all my pin and welds but had an old friend (1st SFG 18B) that shot his Yankee Hills suppressors on A2 FH mounted with crush washers... he ran fast and loose with his toys but never had a baffle or end cap strike though

They are not always concentric and can whopper jaw your can and cause a baffle strike.  They also may make your A2 flash hider or other mount for your can whopper jawwed causing the same problem. I just wanted to say whopper jaw again. It's a technical term.

I love ADCO. I cut to 14.7 and pin with no spacers. No it’s not a clone but I like them that way.

Need to do a 14.5 with some type of 3 prong though.

I want to clarify my position.  "I" only wouldn't use crush washers because of my Griffin can.  I'm not in any way discounting Adco's above mentioned work, they're top notch.  I just wanted opinions on whether the spacers could have negative effects on the A2 as a suppressor host.

Do you also need to use the stop washer for your can? I've been looking around for that can, and the prices vary so damn much. But I want one like yesterday.

It's not needed, I put it on some of my rifles but not others because I ran out of stop washers.  Minor annoyance maybe.

Very true but if the crush washer isn't concentric it certainly doesn't help the mix any. Lol.

@Mossyrocks I have a lot of experience with a variety of cans and spacers that ADCO uses and it  might as well be a sliver of a barrel so no issues with suppressed shooting there. As far as with an A2 bird cage FH as the host and how that is affected, I only have the Halo to go off of and it hasn't ever caused an issue. The spacer and can mount for Gemtech, knights, SF, AAC, AWC, Thunderbeast and OPS INC to name a few have not been an issue either for lots o' rounds.

Just to remind of an (expensive) option, I went with SAW (Specialized Armament Warehouse) design where they have their own A2 shaped muzzle device.

Which clone?

1.5 black is acceptable in my book.

Block 2 - Tan

Then again I'm certain I've seen a block 2 with a black SU on it ITW. Just depends on how much you want to argue with the clone police around here.
