Does anyone know what years the KAC 600m and 300m rears were introduced?

Was the FF RAS carbine ever issued on anything? Now that I have the proper one almost buttoned up, kind of wanting to deviate course a little into the oddball clones.

Went standard and ordered a MaTech from Shark Arms. Eventually going to grab KAC 600 and 300m rears, but this can carry over to my M16A4 when that time comes.
Families be expensive. Maybe I can start the market on being an influencer for being poor even getting paid in Ramen, I only need 228 packs to equal a KAC 300m rear. It ain't the proudest hustle, but it would get the job done! |

It’s current output is basically negative lumens but I plan on installing a Malkoff drop in eventually. For those who are wanting to upgrade the bulb in the M951 or M952 Surefire's, here is what you need:
LED Milspec upgrade bulb I am running this in my light and it's outstanding, something like 900 or so lumens compared to the 65 it came with. Gives you choices on orange peel or smooth reflector (I used orange peel to duplicate original) and several different bulb "heat" ranges (I used the Cree XP-L2 Cool White) The bulb is designed to fit in the 951 or 2 head with the shock absorber in the bezel, just need to pull off the outer spring of the bulb before installing, it's all in the directions it comes with. No need to modify anything, stretch springs or stand upside down with your tongue sideways to make it work like with the Malkoff, which are way more expensive. The Lumens Factory Milspec D-26LED is $35 and works. Attached File Attached File |

I've noticed a lot of these don't have the slight step down in the barrel profile before the flash hider, but the flash hiders are extended. Are these 16" barrels cut to 14.5" with a pinned/welded FH? I've been interested in having this done to a Colt 6920 but I'm afraid of any potential downsides. What are they? Can it chip the chrome lining?
